On August 5, 2026, the HNCHS YES-O Organization conducted a Campus Clean-Up Drive to promote cleanliness and encourage students to be more aware of and responsible for their surroundings.

The Barkada Kontra Bisyo Club and other school clubs wholeheartedly offered their time, service, and support to make the activity a success. Through teamwork and action, they demonstrated that keeping our school clean is a shared responsibility. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

๐Ÿ“ข IDADAIT 2026 | June 26, 2026

In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026, the Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) officers of HNCHS conducted a bag inspection for both Junior High School and Senior High School students to help promote a safe, secure, and drug-free school environment.

As part of today's advocacy, BKB officers also distributed informational flyers highlighting the harmful effects of illegal drugs, the importance of making responsible choices, and ways students can contribute to a peaceful and healthy community. An Online Quiz Contest was also launched through the HNCHS page to encourage students to strengthen their knowledge of drug prevention and awareness.

The activity also serves as a reminder of the importance of school safety following the tragic school shooting at San Jose National High School in Tacloban on June 22, 2026, which claimed the lives of students and left others injured. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and the entire school community. Incidents like these remind us that creating safe, supportive, and violence-free schools requires the cooperation of students, parents, educators, and the community.

Together, let us continue to promote peace, respect, responsibility, and a drug-free lifestyle for a safer future for every learner.
