The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cabanbanan is truly grateful to be part of the City of Himamaylan’s celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

Behind every successful activity are people who wholeheartedly believe in the potential of the youth. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our beloved Mayor, Hon. Raymund I. Tongson, Jr., the amazing CSWDO Team led by Ma’am Evergrace Castro, our hardworking SK Federation President, Hon. Jedalyn Kaye Pampliega, and our very own SK Chairperson, Hon. Marvin Presquito.

Thank you for your guidance, trust, and endless support. You have given our kabataan not only a chance to celebrate, but also a space to learn, participate, lead, and discover what we are capable of.

To our fellow youth, may this celebration remind us that we are capable of creating change. Let us use our energy, talents, and voices to make a difference.

This celebration reminded us that youth participation is not simply about attending activities-it is about being heard, getting involved, building connections, and taking action.

With technology in our hands and partnerships beside us, let us continue to dream bigger, work together, and become young leaders who create meaningful change.

Thank you, Cabanbanon youth, for showing us what unity, energy, and purpose can accomplish.

SKatawhayan 2026| AUGUST 21, 2026

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cabanbanan conducted “SKatawhayan,” a meaningful Talk and Lecture focused on community safety, peace, responsible citizenship, and the important role of the youth in maintaining a safe and harmonious community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our guest speaker, Cpl. Edrel M. Villasis (INF) PA, Public Affairs NCO of the 94th Infantry (Mandirigma) Battalion, for sharing his valuable knowledge, experiences, and insights with our young Cabanbanon.

Your words reminded us that peace is not only the absence of conflict, it is something we build through discipline, cooperation, respect, awareness, and unity.

To our Cabanbanon youth, may we continue to be peace advocates, responsible citizens, and active partners in building a safer community. Let us choose understanding over conflict, cooperation over division, and peace over violence.

Padayon, pamatan-ong Cabanbanon! Let us be the generation that protects peace and inspires others to do the same. 💙
