A successful and meaningful TUPAD Orientation was conducted by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Hilongos, Leyte, under the leadership of PESO Manager Mr. Giovanni G. Olo, held at the 3rd Floor Function Room, Municipal Hall of Hilongos, Leyte.

The activity was graced by the presence of Municipal Mayor Manuel “Linlin” R. Villahermosa, whose continued support to employment and livelihood initiatives reflects the local government’s commitment to uplifting the welfare of every Hilongosnon. Also present were Mr. Giovanni G. Olo, PESO Manager, and Ms. Jessica Chumacera, TUPAD Coordinator, together with the participating beneficiaries of the program.

The orientation served as an avenue to further strengthen awareness and understanding of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program, ensuring that beneficiaries are guided accordingly and equipped with the necessary information prior to implementation.

Olo, successfully spearheaded the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Orientation held at the 3rd Floor Function Room of the Municipal Building in Hilongos. The activity highlighted the municipality’s continued commitment to nurturing the potential of young individuals through programs that combine education, work experience, and personal development.

The orientation was graced by the presence of Mayor Manuel “Linlin” R. The monitoring activity served as an avenue to assess the progress, experiences, and development of the interns as they continue to gain meaningful exposure in government service. Olo, warmly welcomed the representatives from Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office VIII and DOLE West Leyte Field Office for the evaluation of the municipality’s forms and documents for the Search for Best PESO. The office sincerely appreciates the time and effort extended by the evaluators in guiding and assessing the local PESO’s initiatives and accomplishments.

The activity served not only as an evaluation but also as an opportunity to learn, improve, and strengthen the delivery of employment programs and services for the people of Hilongos.
