The Seal of Good Local Governance is a prestigious recognition awarded to local government units that demonstrate excellence in financial administration, disaster preparedness, social protection, peace and order, business-friendliness, environmental management, health, education, and other critical sectors. The evaluation process involves a thorough review of the LGU’s programs and services, ensuring that they meet or exceed the national standards set forth by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Mayor Villahermosa, together with the entire LGU-Hilongos team, remains hopeful that the various innovations, initiatives, and development projects implemented over the past year will be favorably reflected in the final validation results. These efforts stand as a testament to Hilongos’ ongoing journey towards sustainable growth, good governance, and high-quality public service for all Hilongosnons.
As the LGU awaits the final results, this validation marks yet another milestone in Hilongos’ commitment to serving its people with integrity, efficiency, and dedication, ensuring that the community continues to thrive under the principles of good governance.
