The Local Government Unit of Hamtic has adopted a Four-Day Compressed Work Week in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114.
Under this arrangement, LGU offices, including the Office of the Sanggunian, will operate Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, while ensuring the continued delivery of essential public services.
Residents are assured that essential frontline services will remain accessible, and necessary measures are in place to maintain uninterrupted public service.

The Municipal Government of Hamtic has implemented a four-day onsite work week in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President of the Philippines, which directs government agencies to reduce electricity and fuel consumption by at least 10% to 20%.
Under the new arrangement, the standard 40-hour work week is compressed into four days to help lower operational costs, reduce electricity use in government facilities, and support national efforts on energy conservation and sustainability.
The LGU assured the public that essential frontline services will remain uninterrupted. The Municipal Health Office will continue providing medical services, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office will maintain its 24/7 emergency response operations, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office will sustain regular services for vulnerable sectors.
The LGU has also adopted internal energy-saving measures, including maintaining air-conditioning at 24ยฐC, switching off non-essential equipment during breaks, and maximizing virtual meetings to minimize travel-related fuel consumption.
