The Municipality of Hamtic, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Julius Ronald “Junjun” L. Pacificador, through the Hamtic Tourism, Historical, and Cultural Affairs Office, proudly joins the Provincial Government of Antique in celebrating Tourism Month 2026, themed “Tides of Culture, Peaks of Wonder: Honoring Antique’s Tourism Champions.”

The Hamtic Tourism, Historical and Cultural Affairs Office is participating in the Accreditation on Wheels Orientation conducted by the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region VI, being held from September 1–4, 2026, at the Old Capitol Building in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique.

This ongoing initiative aims to guide and assist local tourism establishments in understanding and navigating the DOT Accreditation process, while helping them work toward meeting the established standards for quality, safe, and excellent tourism services.

Great news for our tourism stakeholders in the Province of Antique! 💚 The Department of Tourism (DOT) Western Visayas Region VI is bringing its Accreditation on Wheels closer to you this September 1–4, 2026.

This initiative is designed to make the DOT accreditation process more accessible, convenient, and efficient for tourism establishments in Antique. It provides stakeholders an opportunity to learn more about accreditation requirements, submit their applications, and have their establishments inspected without having to travel far.
