Ho ho ho! 🎄 Christmas feels even merrier as Barangay Piapi III joyfully celebrated its Barangay Day today, December 30, 2025, at the Covered Court!
‎
‎The day was filled with laughter, smiles, and a strong sense of togetherness as residents gathered for a warm salo-salo. The celebration also highlighted the awarding of the basketball players and teams of "Pasipal kang Barangay 2025", made possible through the efforts of Hon. Ramille N. Sumaculub and the barangay council. Special care and love were also shared through the gift giving for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), with the presence of PWD representative Mr. Karl Aljermhar S. Abella, who helped distribute food packs to the beneficiaries. The youth enjoyed exciting parlor games, while residents happily participated in the much-anticipated raffle draw.

‎This meaningful activity was made possible through the guidance of Punong Barangay Hon. Rosemarie S. Abella, together with the dedicated support of the Barangay Kagawads, Sangguniang Kabataan, tanods, and other barangay officials whose teamwork brought the celebration to life.
‎
‎In her message, Hon. Abella expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part and extended their help, especially the sponsors whose big hearts made this activity even more successful. She also shared that seeing the community united, smiling, and celebrating together makes all the hard work truly worthwhile. She hopes that the spirit of love, generosity, and unity shown during this celebration will continue to grow in Barangay Piapi III.

𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘪𝘢𝘱𝘪 𝘐𝘐𝘐 — The Barangay Council of Piapi III has once again completed the distribution of food packs, this time to 51 households who continue to recover from the devastation brought by Typhoon Tino. Led by Punong Barangay Rosemarie S. Abella, alongside the Sangguniang Barangay Members and with the assistance of the vigilant Barangay Tanods, this act of service stands as a testament to the shared compassion and resilience as a community.

‎Again, the barangay council expressed their deepest appreciation to the LGU and MSWDO Hamtic for their steadfast dedication and generosity. Their commitment to stand with every barangay in Hamtic during these trying moments truly makes a difference in the lives of many.

𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘪𝘢𝘱𝘪 𝘐𝘐𝘐 — In the spirit of compassion and unity, the Barangay Council of Piapi III has successfully completed the distribution of food packs to 57 families who were greatly affected by Typhoon Tino last November 4,2025. ‎This initiative was led by the ever-dedicated Punong Barangay Rosemarie S. Abella, together with the Sangguniang Barangay Members and the assistance of the hardworking Barangay Tanods. Their efforts reflect the true essence of 'bayanihan' in times of hardship.

‎The barangay Piapi III also extend their heartfelt gratitude to the LGU Hamtic and MSWDO Hamtic for their continuous commitment to providing assistance to every barangay in the municipality. Their unwavering support brings hope and comfort to every home during difficult times.

‎𝘏𝘢𝘮𝘵𝘪𝘤, 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦 — A step toward a safer and more prepared community was made as Barangay Piapi III officially received a new rescue vehicle along with Barangay Apdo and Barangay Poblacion 1 during the turnover ceremony held on October 25, 2025, at the Poblacion 1 Gymnasium. The activity was part of the ongoing efforts to improve local disaster readiness across the municipality.

‎Leading the event was Congressman AA Legarda, joined by Mayor Junjun Pacificador and Vice Mayor Julie Pacificador, who expressed their shared commitment to ensuring that every barangay is equipped for emergencies. Representing barangay Piapi III, Punong Barangay Rosemarie S. Abella, together with the members of the Barangay Council, gratefully accepted the rescue vehicle which was made possible through the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and with funding assistance from Senator Loren Legarda and Congressman AA Legarda.

‎In her message, Punong Barangay Abella extended her deep appreciation to Senator Inday Loren Legarda, Congressman AA Legarda, Mayor Junjun Pacificador, and Vice Mayor Julie Pacificador for their unwavering dedication to public service. She emphasized that initiatives like this show how genuine leadership and compassion can make a lasting difference in the lives of the people of Hamtic. She also added that for Barangay Piapi III, this milestone symbolizes more than just receiving a vehicle—it represents a stronger sense of community, preparedness, and hope for a safer tomorrow.

‎𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘪𝘢𝘱𝘪 𝘐𝘐𝘐 — On October 25, 2025, Barangay Piapi III successfully held its General Assembly for the second semester of Calendar Year 2025 with the theme “Araw ng Pakikibahagi: Solusyon at Aksyon Ating Talakayin Ngayong Barangay Assembly.” The event took place at the barangay covered court and was attended by 99 individuals, including a guest from the MDRRMO Office, MDRRMO I (LDRRMO) Mr. Rafael M. Magbanua.

‎During the assembly, Punong Barangay Rosemarie S. Abella delivered her State of the Barangay Address (SOBA), highlighting the importance of coming together to share ideas and find better solutions for the benefit of everybody in the barangay. She encouraged everyone to continue working as one community to build a safer and more progressive environment for all. Furthermore, reports on Barangay Complaints to National Laws and Issuances was also discussed by Punong Barangay Abella while the Accomplishment Reports from various committees such as Peace and Order, Women, Children, Family, and Gender and Development, Agriculture, Health and Sanitation, Infrastructure, Education, Youth and Sports, and Appropriation and Finance were presented by each barangay officials.

‎In the open forum, the council carefully listened to the residents’ concerns and provided thoughtful responses to their queries. The exchange of ideas made the assembly more meaningful and productive for everyone, reminding both residents and leaders that true progress can only be achieved through unity, cooperation, and a shared love for the community.

‎𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘪𝘢𝘱𝘪 𝘐𝘐𝘐 – The Barangay Covered Court was full of energy last August 9, 2025, as more than forty individuals—youth aged 10–19, parents, guardians, barangay officials, and tanods—came together for "Project Innovation: Parental and Adolescents Development, under the Gender and Development (GAD) program".

‎The sessions covered important topics like life skills, KATROPA values, teenage pregnancy awareness, and responsible parenthood. There were also open forums, film showings, and group activities that taught the value of good decision-making, gender respect, and family responsibility.
‎
‎Speakers Ma'am Jonabelle M. Yap, Sir Roland A. Elio, and Rica Marie T. Andrada shared lessons to help strengthen family relationships and guide the youth. The event ended with the community united in the goal of creating a safer and more caring place for the young people and residents of Brgy. Piapi III.
