Congratulations to Team Pobres for securing the championship title in the 9th Mayor’s Cup, and to Team Balabago for finishing as 1st Runner-Up. Both teams showcased outstanding skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The standard five-day work week will officially resume on June 1, 2026, marking the end of the previously implemented compressed work schedule. This transition aims to further streamline operations and enhance the delivery of public services across all municipal offices.

With this adjustment, all office transactions, frontline services, and government programs will be available from Monday to Friday, with office hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The return to a regular work schedule ensures more consistent and accessible public service delivery.

The Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) program roll-out was successfully conducted today, reinforcing ongoing efforts to sustain drug-clearing operations at the barangay level. The initiative highlights the continued collaboration between the local government, the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in promoting safe and drug-free communities through capacity-building sessions on legal frameworks and crisis response.

Mayor Junjun L. Pacificador reaffirmed the LGU’s strong support for the program, emphasizing the importance of community-based approaches and proactive governance in addressing illegal drugs. Through sustained initiatives like this, the local government continues to strengthen the capability of barangay leaders and advance its commitment to peace, security, and inclusive development across Hamtic.
