ππππ πππππππ π πππππ, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal immediately responded to a reported vehicular fire incident that occurred at Brgy. Progreso, Gumaca, Quezon involving one (1) truck. Upon receipt of the emergency call, responding firefighters promptly proceeded to the area and immediately conducted fire suppression operations to prevent the fire from spreading and ensure the safety of nearby residents and motorists.
Through the swift response, coordinated efforts, and effective firefighting operations of the responding team, the incident was successfully managed and brought under control. Firefighters likewise conducted safety measures in the surrounding area to eliminate possible hazards and secure the scene for public safety.
BFP Gumaca also extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the personnel of Kalasag MDRRMO and Gumaca PNP for their immediate assistance, coordination, and cooperation during the response operations. Their valuable support in traffic management, scene security, and emergency response efforts greatly contributed to the successful handling of the incident. This collaborative effort reflects the importance of unity and inter-agency partnership in ensuring the safety and welfare of the community.
Vehicular fires may occur due to various causes such as electrical malfunctions, overheating of engine components, fuel leaks, mechanical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances. This incident serves as a reminder to all motorists and vehicle owners to regularly inspect and maintain their vehicles to reduce fire risks and ensure road safety.
The Bureau of Fire Protection continuously reminds the public to remain vigilant and prioritize preventive maintenance and safety measures. In times of emergency, immediately report incidents to the nearest fire station or emergency response unit for immediate action.
