From the shores of Sulangan to the beautiful island of Boracay, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Sulangan proudly participated in the ๐„๐Œ๐๐Ž๐–๐„๐‘ ๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ-๐„๐ง๐ ๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐„๐ฑ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐, held on September 4โ€“6, 2026, in Boracay Island, Philippines.

More than just a journey, this was a ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž, ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ -๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฆ. The delegates of Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Sulangan gained valuable insights, meaningful experiences, and fresh perspectives while learning from and sharing best practices with fellow SK leaders from different parts of the country.

The summit became an avenue not only to celebrate service and excellence, but also to reflect on the true meaning of leadership. We were reminded that ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐ก๐š๐ฌ ๐š ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ, ๐›๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ The positions we hold may have an ending, but the difference we make in the lives of young people and our community can continue far beyond our time in office.

As we officially conclude Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, we look back on a meaningful and exciting celebration filled with sports, games, creativity, talents, friendship, teamwork, and camaraderie among the youth of Barangay Sulangan.

From our Opening Activities and Parade to the different competitions and recreational activities, every event gave our young people an opportunity to participate, learn, compete, showcase their talents, and, most importantly, enjoy and celebrate together.

We also express our sincere appreciation to all the kabataan who actively participated in the election. Your involvement and voices are essential in strengthening youth representation and democratic participation in our barangay. ๐Ÿ’™

A very special thank you to the people who played a vital role in the successful conduct of the SK Special Election.

Our deepest gratitude goes to Barangay Captain Hon. Cesario Labutap for his strong leadership, unwavering support, and guidance that greatly contributed to the smooth and orderly flow of this activity. To the Barangay Officials, thank you for sparing your time to be present at this assembly.
