𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

April 03–05, 2026 | In continuation of the ongoing Semana Santa activities, personnel of 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, led by 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟯 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗬 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶ñ𝗮, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, under the direct supervision of Provincial Fire Marshal, 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗩 𝗗𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗟𝗔 sustained the implementation of 𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in line with the observance of the Lenten Season.

The team conducted continuous monitoring and public safety operations, including crowd control during religious processions and Holy Masses. Safety was likewise ensured at Mt. Ilihan Peak, Mt. Ilihan entrance, and port areas.

Through proactive measures, vigilance, and teamwork, operations were carried out efficiently and without incident.

Guinsiliban Fire Station expresses its sincere appreciation to the public for their cooperation in maintaining a safe, peaceful, and solemn observance of Semana Santa.

01-02 April 2026 Personnel of 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, led by 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟯 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗬 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶ñ𝗮, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, under the direct supervision of Provincial Fire Marshal, 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗩 𝗗𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗟𝗔, successfully implemented 𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in line with the observance of the Lenten Season.

Strategic deployment of fire personnel and establishment of assistance desks were carried out at key areas, including Mt. Ilihan Peak, Brgy. Butay – Mt. Ilihan Entrance, Guinsiliban Parish Church and Guinsiliban Port.

This operation aimed to ensure public safety, provide immediate emergency response, and assist residents, pilgrims, and tourists during the Holy Week. Guinsiliban FS personnel remained on heightened alert and standby status to respond to any fire incidents, medical emergencies, and other contingencies.

Moreover, fire safety awareness was promoted through the dissemination of safety reminders, particularly on fire prevention, proper use of candles, and maintaining vigilance in crowded areas. Coordination with other agencies was also strengthened to ensure peace, order, and public safety.

Guinsiliban Fire Station remains steadfast in its commitment to protect lives, property, and the environment, especially during significant observances such as Semana Santa.

30 March 2026 Guinsiban Fire Station Personnel represented by FO1 Abdulhafiez S Lantud , OLP-Controller headed by SFO3 Wilbert Y Cadeliña, Acting MFM, under the direct supervision of Provincial Fire Marshal SUPT CARMEL LITO DIONELA. The Guinsiliban personnel conducted conducted Community Fire Protection Plan(CFPP), Organized CFAG and PRE-FIRE PLANNING SURVEY as daily fire safety reminder and other related fire safety measures to identified Highly Vulnerable areas of Barangay South Poblacion, Guinsiliban, Camiguin Province.

The Bureau of Fire Protection reminds the public that 911 is for Real Emergencies Only!

Prank calls can cost lives.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) led by Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla, said that the country’s modernized Unified 911 system now uses new technology to block AI-generated and automated prank calls to keep emergency lines open for those in danger.

What you need to know:
AI Detection: The system now identifies and filters robo-calls and AI-generated reports automatically.

Call Tracking: Numbers that repeatedly make prank or non-emergency calls are flagged and given lower priority.

Faster Response: Since these upgrades began, prank calls have dropped by over 98%.

Every fake call clogs the system and delays help for actual fires, crimes, or medical emergencies.

Do not call 911 unless it is a genuine emergency.

OOA 1300H 16 March 2026 The personnel of Guinsiliban Fire Station, led by 𝑺𝑭𝑶3 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝒀 𝑪𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊ñ𝒂, 𝑶𝑰𝑪, 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍, under the direct supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐋 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐕 𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐀, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥 successfully conducted the Municipal Fire Olympics, followed by a Zumba Activity, in celebration of Fire Prevention Month with the theme: “𝑺𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒈-𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒂 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒐𝒈, 𝑯𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊 𝒌𝒂 𝑵𝒂𝒈-𝒊𝒊𝒔𝒂”

This activity was made possible through the strong support of LGU Guinsiliban, headed by 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙅𝙤𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙣-𝙏𝙖𝙣, in partnership with the MDRRMO Guinsiliban.

The event was actively participated in by members of the Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) from the seven barangays of Guinsiliban, who demonstrated their skills, teamwork, and readiness in emergency response.

After the competitive activities, a Zumba session was conducted to promote physical fitness, camaraderie, and overall wellness among participants and responders.

This initiative aims to strengthen community awareness, enhance emergency preparedness, and promote collaboration in fire prevention efforts.

Guinsiliban Fire Station extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, partners, and stakeholders for their invaluable support in making this activity a success.
