HAPPENING NOW | Public Hearing of Barangay Ordinance No. 003, S. 2024

The council of Barangay Sta. Rosa-Laguna holds their first public hearing on the Brgy. Ordinance No. 003, S. 2024 (Tax Ordinance).

The goal of the activity is to discuss the said ordinance to the constituents of Brgy. Sta. Rosa-Laguna.

The ordinance is discussed by the Principal Author, Kgwd. John Ramar Gemota.

SRL AFTER THE STORM.

The Barangay Council of Sta. Rosa-Laguna along with the Tanods, BHWs, Sangguniang Kabataan, and 4Ps representatives conducted a road clearing activity on the road stretching the sea area of the barangay as the weather clears.

The road was affected by the storm and it is the initiative of the Barangay to conduct the said activity.

It is the commitment of Brgy. Sta. Rosa-Laguna to serve the community and we will continue to address the issues that the Barangay faces.

PROTEKTAHAN ANG KADAGATAN!

In their commitment for environmental protection especially in coastal areas, the Sta. Rosa-Laguna Fisherfolks Association (SRLFA) conducted a coastal clean-up activity - June 22, 2024.

Members of the said association gathered several sacks of trash from the coastlines of Brgy. Sta. Rosa-Laguna. Additionally, a sign prohibiting garbage disposal on the coastline is posted on the area: an initiative of SRLFA.

This is a proof of the commitment of the community to sustain the environment we collect our resources from.

Isang mapagpalayang araw, Pilipinas!

Nakilahok ang mga opisyales ng Brgy. Sta. Rosa-Laguna at Sangguniang Kabataan sa paggunita ng ika-126 na taon ng ating kalayaan ngayong ika-12 ng Hunyo, 2024.

Nakilahok rin sa selebrasyon ang mga opisyales sa buong bayan ng Guimbal, mga NGAs at NGOs, PNP, BFP, BJMP, at ng LGU Guimbal Iloilo sa pamumuno ni Mayor Janette "Jennifer" Garin-Colada.

Ang Araw ng Kalayaan ay isang manipestasyon ng ating kasarinlan. Ipagdiwang at ipagmalaking malaya ka, Pilipino.

Limpyo Iloilo for MoRProGRess

Barangay Sta. Rosa-Laguna joins the province-wide convergence clean-up initiated by the Province of Iloilo on May 31, 2024 at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Included in the participants of the said activity are the Brgy. Tanods, BHWs, Fisher folks, Farmers, PWD Representatives, Solo Parents, Sangguniang Kabataan, and other organizations in Brgy. Sta. Rosa-Laguna.

The clean-up aims to fight against flooding and dengue which are some issues faced by communities during the rainy season.
