In a simple yet meaningful gathering filled with laughter, curiosity, and hope, the children of Inampulugan shared their dreams and aspirations for themselves and their community during the โVoices of Tomorrowโ activityโ a community engagement initiative that placed young voices at the center of local development conversations.
The activity, organized through the initiative of the Guimaras Local Governance Resource Center (GLGRC) and led by DILG Guimaras, created a safe and interactive space where children were not merely recipients of assistance but active participants in envisioning the future of their island community. Serving as the driving force behind the activity, the GLGRC strengthened community engagement by promoting inclusivity, participation, and meaningful interaction with the children and their families.

The day opened with warm and engaging interactions between DILG Guimaras personnel and the children through conversations and informal exchanges. The team took time to play with the children through simple games and question-and-answer activities, fostering an atmosphere of comfort, trust, and enjoyment, with the presence of their parents and other members of the community.
