THE MOUNTAIN IS NOT A RESORT. IT’S A TEACHER.
The essence, the meaning, and the responsibility of mountaineering are dying.
And it’s not by accident.
It’s being killed by modern organizers who turned the sacred into a Package Tour.
Today’s youth don’t know what mountaineering is anymore.
They don’t know the Essence.
They don’t know the Meaning.
They don’t know the Responsibility that comes with stepping into the wild.
The education is gone.
The lessons of struggle, patience, technical skills how to survive and respect for nature — gone.
What’s left?
Pay. Sit. Climb. Eat. Drink. Sleep. Wake up and eat again.Go home.and Post.
You don’t learn to Cook because there’s catering.
You don’t learn to Carry because there are porters.
You don’t learn the DIY process because you were never taught.
You’re just dropped off at the campsite like a tourist, not a mountaineer.
And the most painful part?
Those who still want to learn the hard way — the DIY way, the real way — can’t even get a slot.
Because it was already bought out. Reserved. Commercialized.
We didn’t climb mountains to be served.
We climbed to be Humbled. To Learn. To Grow mentally. To carry our own weight phisically,to be more connected spiritually.
And as Public Servants of the mountains, we have a job and a purpose to protect that.dont sell it.stop normalizing greediness over the summit of our mind that we cannot control.
Protect our youths and the next generations.
If we keep selling the mountain like a product,
we’re not raising mountaineers.
We’re raising customers. Or what they call “Joiners.”
And maybe one day, when there are no organizers left to hold their hand —
out in the Darkness, in the Storm, or when they get Lost .expect that they won’t know how to SURVIVE.Because of you.
Because we chose to stay BLIND to what we’re doing.
But it’s not too late.we can bring it back if we will.
Bring back the education.
Bring back the responsibility.
Bring back the mountaineering essence.
Protect your Job.
Protect our Youths.
Protect the next Generations.
Protect our Mountains.
Protect Life.
Pero kung indi na gid kaya ibalik, mas mayo pa e close na lang na asta mintras.
