The Department of Health (DOH) warns the public about the possible health effects of haze as smoke from forest fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia, reaches parts of Luzon and the Visayas due to the prevailing Habagat.

Haze may cause coughing, difficulty breathing, chest pain, and itchy or watery eyes and may worsen existing lung conditions such as asthma.

ParSU encourages the community to take precautions, especially children, older adults, and individuals with existing heart or lung conditions. Wear a mask when going outdoors, monitor local conditions, and prioritize your health and safety.

Starting 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Library Services Office will strictly implement the “𝐍𝐎 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃, 𝐍𝐎 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐘” policy.

All students and library users are reminded to have their 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 ready upon entering the library. This policy is implemented to ensure proper identification, security, and orderly access to library facilities and services.

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐4 | 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲

In observance of National Heroes Day and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, there will be no classes and office transactions across all ParSU campuses on Monday, August 31, 2026.

Classes and office transactions will resume on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, under the University’s compressed workweek arrangement. The Flag Raising Ceremony will likewise be held on Tuesday, in accordance with Memorandum No. 262, s.2026.

Please be guided accordingly.
