The 2024 National Competitive Examination (NCE) application for incoming Grade 7 students for S.Y. 2025 - 2026 is now open.

𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: OCTOBER 10, 2024
𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐌 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: NOVEMBER 16, 2024

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒:
A current Grade 6 (SY 2024-2025) who meets the following criteria is eligible to apply for the Philippine Science High School National Competitive Examination:
1. has a final grade of 85% or better in Science and Mathematics, evidenced by the student's report card in Grade 5 or on S.Y. 2023-2024; (If the student's grades in Science or Math are below 85%, then, he/she must provide evidence that he/she belongs to the upper 10% of the batch.
2. a Filipino citizen with no pending or approved application as an immigrant to any foreign country.
3. not be more than 15 years old by June 30, 2025.
4. has at least a satisfactory rating (or its equivalent) in his/her Character Rating in his/her report card in Grade 5 or on S.Y. 2023-2024).
5. has not previously applied for admission in PSHS; and
6. preferably in good health and fit to undergo a rigorous academic program.

Student applicants may apply directly to the nearest Philippine Science High School campus, DOST Regional Offices, and Provincial Science and Technology Offices or apply via online platform through https://nce.pshs.edu.ph.

1) Names marked with one (1) asterisk have lacking documents that need to be submitted; some were withheld pending completion of the evaluation of requirements. We will notify them via email on how to comply with the requirements.
2) Only qualifiers studying 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 will receive their Notice of Award from us.
3) Qualifiers studying 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 will receive their Notice of Award from the respective DOST Regional Office where their school is located.
4) Qualifiers studying in 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗔 will receive their Notice of Award from DOST-SEI.
