LIVESTOCK INDEMNITY CLAIMS
APRIL 15, 2026

Unom (6) ka farmer-beneficiaries sa siyudad ang nakadawat sa ilang livestock indemnity claims gikan sa Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) nga nagkantidad og Php 51,600.00 alang sa pito (7) ka kanding, ug isa (1) ka kabaw nga namatay ug covered sa PCIC Insurance claims.

Ang mga tseke personal nga gitunol nila Mr. Calvin R. Suico ug Mr. Joey Amacio sa PCIC, sa Office of the City Veterinarian. Mitambong usab sa pag-release sa mga tseke si Dr. April Zea B. Anino, Acting City Veterinarian; Ma'am Herra B. Ipanag, Senior Agriculturist; ug Ms. Ma. Ruby D. Felisilda, R.Agr. (Animal Improvement Staff).

Nagpahigayon usab ang mga personahe sa PCIC sa ilang validation interview ngadto sa ubang farmer-beneficiaries nga adunay ginaproceso nga livestock indemnity claims sa ilang buhatan.

Padayon ang suporta ug pagpanalipod sa panginabuhian sa atong mga mag-uuma pinaagi sa tukmang serbisyo ug programa sa gobyerno. 🐐🐑🐄

ENSURING FOOD SAFETY AND CONSUMER PROTECTION REMAINS A TOP PRIORITY

The Office of the City Veterinarian – Meat Inspection Services, in coordination with the City Economic Enterprise Department (CEED), conducted monitoring activities among various meat stalls and meat shops to assess compliance with lighting standards under the Code on Sanitation of the Philippines (P.D. 856).

Pursuant to Section 3.2.7 (Lighting) of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Chapter IV – “Markets and Abattoirs,” vendors are reminded that the use of colored lights or any materials that may alter the natural color of food is strictly prohibited. Proper lighting is essential to ensure that meat and other food products are presented in their true and safe condition.

The memorandum was officially released and received by meat vendors on March 11, 2026, giving them seven (7) days to replace all non-compliant lighting with clear or white bulbs that do not distort the appearance of food products.

During the monitoring activity, a total of 15 non-compliant light bulbs were confiscated and turned over to the CEED Office.

We encourage all vendors to strictly adhere to these standards to uphold transparency, food safety, and public trust.

Nagpahigayon ug tulo ka adlaw nga Retooling Training Workshop alang sa Meat Inspection Officers sa Region X ang National Meat Inspection Service – Regional Technical Operations Center X nga gipahigayon in partnership with Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center X niadtong Marso 16-18, 2026.

Isip kabahin sa partisipasyon sa Gingoog City-Office of the City Veterinarian, duha ka personnel gikan sa Meat Inspection Services nga sila Mr. Rey M. Balabag (Meat Inspector I) ug Giovanni Ramasola (Pest Control Officer II) ang miapil sa maong tulo ka adlaw nga retooling training workshop alang sa meat inspectors.

Ang kalihokan nagtumong sa pag-review ug pagpalig-on sa kahibalo ug abilidad sa mga Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) ug meat inspectors bahin sa meat inspection system, subay sa pinakabag-ong mga standard ug guidelines sa National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS).

LUNAO (Baybay Lunao) nga kami magauban sa pagahimoon nga EGC Cares Program (Halad Pangalagad) sa inyong barangay karun umaabot nga Marso 18, 2026; Miyerkules (Marso 18, 2026; Miyerkules) nga ipahigayon didto sa Baybay Lunao Elementary School

Kami magapahigayaon ug nagkalain-lain nga serbisyo sama sa libre nga Anti-rabies na bakuna para sa mga binuhing iring ug iro, pagpamurga (deworming) sa mga mananap, pagkapon sa mga lalaki nga iring ug iro, RSBSA Registration para livestock, ug PCIC Application para gihapon sa mga livestock.
Giawhag ang tanan nga anaay binuhing mananap nga muadto ug mag-avail sa among serbisyo!
