The Department of Environment and Natural Resources through the Community of Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Gingoog City invites you to take part in the International Day of Climate Action on October 24, 2023.

During this day, you are encouraged to conserve water and energy by recycling, using renewable energy, biking and walking instead of using motor vehicles as your daily transport and doing little things that would help mitigate CLIMATE CHANGE.

Our actions in 1 day will be a great contribution to this Climate Action.

With this year theme “Sustainably Feed the Global Population,” that centers on establishing knowledge, innovation, and solutions that aim to address the ever-changing environmental, social, and climate conditions influencing the capacity of our oceans to provide food to humanity.

Here's how you can participate in the FMB's Tree Hugging Day Campaign:

1. Like the FMB page (/𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘧𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭) and follow the Instagram account (@𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘧𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭)
2. Share publication material from the FMB page and IG
3. Post a selfie/group photo showing a creative way of hugging a tree (plus points if a featured tree is an indigenous species)
