The Department of Agriculture spearheaded the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood, and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) Regional Consultation and Coordination Meeting held at Almont Hotel, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte with the theme: “Transforming Lives: Skills and Opportunities for Farmers, Fisherfolk, Indigenous People, Peace Advocates, and People’s Organizations.”

The activity was graced by Assistant Secretary James Layug and attended by representatives from key government agencies and partner institutions including TESDA, DENR, DTI, DOLE, CDA, AFP, BFAR, ACPC, PCA, NIA, and DSWD.

The event served as a platform to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders in advancing inclusive livelihood opportunities, skills development, and socio-economic initiatives that empower local communities, sustain peace, and promote resilience across the Caraga Region.

Gipahigayon ang pormal nga pagpangabli sa Community Healing, Reconciliation ug Transformation Program sa Barangay Mahanub nga gitambongan sa mga residente, barangay officials, ug representante gikan sa Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Munisipyo sa Gigaquit uban ang suporta sa Philippine
National Police (PNP).

Ang kalihokan nagtumong sa paghatag og psychosocial support, pagdasig sa panaghiusa, ug pagpanghimakas sa mental ug emosyonal nga kahimtang sa komunidad nga naapektohan sa mga konflikto. Lakip sa programa ang mga interactive nga sesyon, group sharing, ug uban pang mga aktibidad nga makatabang sa pagpalig-on sa resiliency ug recovery sa mga lumulupyo.

TAN-AWA | 30IB Naglunsad ug Bloodletting sa Gigaquit, Surigao del Norte

Gipahigayon sa 30th Infantry (Fight On) Battalion ang usa ka Blood Letting Drive uban ang Caraga Regional Hospital-Surigao del Norte niadtong Agosto 30, 2025 sa 30IB Headquarters, Brgy Mahanub, Gigaquit, Surigao del Norte.

Ang kalihokan nagtumong dili lang sa paghatag dugang suplay sa dugo alang sa mga pasyente, apan usab sa pagdasig sa esprit de bayanihan, pagpakita sa pagtinabangay tali sa uniformed personnel, medical workers, ug komunidad.

Matod pa ni LTC ALBERT M BATINGGA INF (GCS) PA, Commanding Officer sa 30IB, ang pagdonar ug dugo usa ka yano apan bililhon nga paagi sa pagluwas sa kinabuhi. Ang ilang kolaborasyon sa Caraga Regional Hospital nagpamatuod nga ang serbisyo publiko usa ka paningkamot nga nagkinahanglan sa kamahinungdanong suporta sa matag sektor.

Ang Philippine Army, pinaagi sa 30IB, magpadayon sa pag-organisar ug pagsalmot sa mga health-related activities aron mapalig-on ang relasyon sa katawhan ug masiguro ang kahimsog sa komunidad.

TAN-AWA | BPATS Training Gipahigayon sa Malimono, Surigao del Norte

Gipahigayon ang Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATS) Training sa Munisipyo sa Malimono nga gipasimunoan sa Local Government Unit (LGU) ug Philippine National Police (PNP) uban ang suporta sa Philippine Army. Ang kalihokan nagtumong sa pagpalig-on sa kapasidad sa mga BPATS isip kaabag sa pagmintinar sa kalinaw ug kahapsay sa komunidad niadtong Agosto 29 2025.

Atol sa maong pagbansay, gilatid ang mga lektura, workshop, ug praktikal nga kalihokan bahin sa community policing, conflict resolution, disaster response, ug mas lig-on nga kooperasyon tali sa komunidad ug mga law enforcement agencies.

Ang maong aktibidad nagpakita sa padayong suporta sa Philippine Army sa pag-empower sa lokal nga komunidad aron mahimong kasaligan nga kaabag sa gobyerno sa pagpadayon sa kalinaw ug kalamboan.
