PSMS Kristoffer Zulueta served as a Guest Lecturer during the Gerona Youth Leadership Summit 2026 held at the Gerona Eco-Tourist Park, Brgy. San Agustin, Gerona, Tarlac.

During the summit, PSMS Zulueta discussed Illegal Drug Awareness and the salient provisions of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making, responsible leadership, and active youth participation in the fight against illegal drugs.

The activity was attended by youth leaders from all 44 barangays of Gerona, Tarlac, providing a valuable platform for learning, leadership development, and strengthening community involvement in promoting a drug-free and safer municipality.

On June 3, 2026, at about 8:35 AM onwards, Sector 1 personnel led by PCMS Wilson R. Gragasin conducted mobile patrolling along Barangays San Antonio, Salapungan, Amacalan, and Parsolingan, Gerona, Tarlac.

The activity was conducted to enhance police visibility, deter criminal activities, and ensure the safety and security of the community. Through continuous patrol operations, Gerona MPS remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining peace and order and fostering a safe environment for all residents.

GERONA MPS APPREHENDS DRUG SUSPECT IN BUY-BUST OPERATION; SHABU WORTH PHP 13,600 SEIZED

GERONA, TARLAC – A drug suspect was arrested during a successful anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Gerona Municipal Police Station on the evening of June 2, 2026, in Barangay Poblacion 3, Gerona, Tarlac.

The operation resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug personality who was caught in the act of selling suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, commonly known as "shabu," to an undercover police operative.

Confiscated during the operation were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of approximately 2 grams and a standard drug price of Php13,600.00. The marked buy-bust money used during the transaction was also recovered from the suspect.

The arrested suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and was subsequently brought to Gerona Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

Gerona Municipal Police Station remains steadfast in its commitment to intensify its campaign against illegal drugs and urges the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts in maintaining a safe and drug-free community.

Foot Patrol

On June 3, 2026, at about 9:05 AM, Sector 1 personnel led by PCMS Wilson R Gragasin conducted foot patrol and business establishment visitation at Brgy. Parsolingan, Gerona, Tarlac.

The activity was aimed at enhancing police visibility, ensuring the safety and security of business establishments, and fostering stronger partnerships between the police and the community. Through regular patrol operations and direct engagement with business owners and employees, Gerona MPS continues to promote a peaceful and secure environment conducive to economic activity and public safety.

Police Presence in Support of Community Service Caravan

On June 3, 2026, at about 9:30 AM onwards, Sector 4 personnel led by PCMS Francis Earl G. Salmos, conducted police presence and security coverage during the San Agustin Caravan of Services initiated by the Local Government Unit of Gerona under the leadership of Hon. Engr. May B. Eclar, Municipal Mayor, held at Brgy. San Agustin, Gerona, Tarlac.

The activity aimed to ensure the safety and orderly conduct of the caravan while bringing essential government services closer to the community. Through active police presence, Gerona MPS continues to support community development initiatives and strengthen public trust through responsive and people-centered policing.
