SARANGANI PROVINCE โ€” Madadaanan na ang Barangay Margus sa bayan ng Glan simula nitong Hunyo 11, 2026, matapos ang mabilisang clearing operations ng DPWH Sarangani District Engineering Office.

Ayon kay DPWH Region XII Regional Director Cayamombao D. Dia, personal na ipinasisiguro ni DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon na agarang mabuksan ang mga kalsada upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga motorista. Binigyang-diin ng kalihim na kritikal ito para sa mabilis na pagpasok ng mga relief goods, suplay ng kuryente, at iba pang tulong para sa mga residenteng naapektuhan ng kalamidad.

Nagpaabot naman ng pasasalamat si Glan Mayor Vincent James Yap, Sr. sa mabilis na pagtugon ng Sarangani DEO. Bukod sa paghawi ng mga natabunang kalsada, naglatag din ang ahensya ng mga alternatibong ruta at nagpadala ng mga mabibigat na kagamitan (heavy equipment) upang mabilis na mahukay ang mga sasakyan at istrukturang nailibing sa landslide.

Sa kasalukuyan, nananatiling nakatutok ang DPWH Region XII sa kanilang 24/7 restoration at clearing operations sa kahabaan ng national highway. Ang nasabing kalsada ay ang pangunahing rutang nagdurugtong sa probinsya ng Sarangani at sa bayan ng Jose Abas Santos sa Davao Occidental.
