The semester flew so past! Before we knew it, it's already June. It's the start of the summer classes and summer breaks. Each of us have a different way to spend these times, yet it doesn't make it dull at all. Every moment captured and experienced from each adventures in life are truly unparalleled.

It's a month filled with pride, holidays, and celebration. This days are to celebrate the bravery, courage, and victory within yourself and the challenges you've overcome. To pop the bubble and to enter in a world while being unapologetically yourself, is an achievement not all can attain. Be truly proud of yourself.

As we enter the month, create the opportunity to explore more than what the map shows, outside of the border where lies new things. Strategy, competition, and innovation came together as the MARKET BATTLE-SCI simulations officially unfolded at the MSU–General Santos City, OSA. Students from the courses Business Analytics, Pricing Strategy, and Distribution Management under Asst. Prof. Evann Keith C. Tabasa, MSM, CMP immersed themselves in an engaging and interactive learning experience through the newly launched card-based tabletop simulation games.

The event featured:

• MARKET BATTLE-SCI: Marketing Strategy Simulation
• MARKET BATTLE-SCI: Pricing Optimization Simulation
• MARKET BATTLE-SCI: Distribution Strategy Simulation

Throughout the simulations, participants were challenged to make strategic decisions involving product positioning, pricing, promotion, and inventory management while competing against fellow players in dynamic market scenarios. The activity transformed traditional classroom learning into a thrilling environment where critical thinking, adaptability, collaboration, and analytical decision-making were put to the test.

More than just a competition, MARKET BATTLE-SCI showcased how gamified learning can bridge theory and real-world application—allowing students to experience the complexities of marketing strategies in a fun, immersive, and meaningful way.

The event became a testament to innovation in marketing education, proving that learning can be both intellectually enriching and exciting.
