In line with the observance of National School Safety Week 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Calumpang High School highlights the importance of creating a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for every learner through the Speak-Up Box initiative, in coordination with the General Santos City Police Station 10.

The Speak-Up Box serves as a channel for learners to voice their concerns and report incidents that may threaten their safety and well-being. It encourages students to speak up about bullying, harassment, threats, and other school safety concerns, reminding everyone that their voices matter and that seeking help is a step toward making our school a safer place.

Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen awareness, promote responsible reporting, and foster a culture of care, respect, and accountability within our school community. Every concern deserves to be heard, every learner deserves protection, and every member of the school community has a role in keeping our campus safe.

Remember: Speak up. Report concerns. Help keep everyone safe. Together, let us build a school where learners feel protected, respected, and empowered to learn without fear.

This meaningful celebration reminds us that every learner deserves to feel safe, respected, protected, accepted, and valued. A safe school is built not only through rules and policies but also through kindness, compassion, respect, and the willingness to stand up for what is right.

📢 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

Following the 𝟲.𝟰-𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 that caused ground shaking in General Santos City and nearby areas, and in accordance with Executive Order No. 55, Series of 2026 issued by the Office of the City Mayor of General Santos City, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended on October 9, 2026 (Friday).

In line with the said Executive Order, Calumpang High School will shift to an alternative mode of learning to ensure the safety of all learners, teaching, and non-teaching personnel.

Students are advised to follow the learning arrangements and instructions provided by their respective teachers.

Everyone is reminded to remain calm, stay alert for possible aftershocks, and prioritize safety at all times.
