Personnel of General Luna Municipal Police Station received a Commendation by the Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held on June 1, 2026, at the SDNPPO Headquarters, Surigao City, spearheaded by PCOL WARREN E DABLO, Provincial Director. The award was granted in recognition of the exemplary performance, dedication, and collective efforts of the operating personnel and the community who provided timely information in the successful conduct of an anti-illegal drugs operation on May 21, 2026, at Brgy. Malinao, General Luna, Surigao del Norte, which resulted in the arrest of a drug personality for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

This recognition highlights the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of the operating personnel in the implementation of the Philippine National Police's intensified campaign against illegal drugs. This accomplishment underscores the unwavering resolve of General Luna MPS in maintaining peace and order and ensuring a safe and secure community.
