Today marks the successful launch of the first-ever Skills Training Program for Out-of-School Youth (OSY), 4Ps Beneficiaries, and ALS Learners in the Municipality of Gattaran!
From June 2β6, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Gattaran, through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), SK Federation of Gattaran, Municipal Livelihood Office, and in partnership with TESDA Provincial Training Center, officially commenced the Livelihood Skills Training on Bread and Pastry Production (Cake Making) Cum Entrepreneurial Development Training under:

Skills and Productive Activities for Resourceful and Knowledgeable Entrepreneurship
Twenty-five (25) participants composed of OSY, 4Ps beneficiaries, and ALS learners from various barangays have embarked on a meaningful learning journey to acquire practical baking skills and entrepreneurial knowledge that can open doors to livelihood and income-generating opportunities.
This initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of the LGU and youth leaders in empowering young individuals through accessible, skills-based learning programs that promote personal development, self-reliance, and economic empowerment.
Upon completion of the 5-day training, participants will receive a Certificate of Competency and will be given the opportunity to undergo Assessment for National Certificate II (NC II) in Bread and Pastry Production.
Today is more than just the start of a training programβit is the beginning of new opportunities, enhanced skills, and brighter futures for the youth of Gattaran.
