The ordinances discussed are aimed at promoting the welfare, development, and good governance of the locality.

The public hearing on the proposed Community Identification (Community ID) Ordinance was successfully conducted earlier today at the Municipal Gymnatorium. The activity was well-attended by stakeholders and members of the public, especially our dedicated officials from the different barangays who took the time to participate and share their insights.

Present during the hearing were the Municipal Vice Mayor and the Sangguniang Bayan Members, together with the invited speakers, who thoroughly discussed the provisions, purpose, and benefits of the proposed ordinance.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Gamay -- headed by Vice Mayor Clarita P. Gomba together with our supportive Mayor, Dr. Timoteo T. Capoquian Jr., and the Honorable Members of the Sanggunian received the award or recognition for being the REGIONAL CHAMPION for the 2025 Local Legislative Awards (LLA)

This award fuels our passion to continue serving the people of Gamay.

The awarding ceremony was held yesterday, at JPark Island Resort , Mactan, Cebu.
