Please be informed that beginning May 8, 2026, RTC Gamay will be reverting to its regular five-day workweek schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Strengthening partnerships in the pursuit of justice and public service.

On 6 May 2026, RTC Gamay joined a meaningful courtesy visit with the Local Government of Gamay headed by Hon. Mayor Dr. Timoteo T. Capoquian, Jr., reaffirming the strong collaboration between the judiciary and the local government in serving the people of Gamay.

Present during the visit were Hon. Jinky T. Uy, Presiding Judge of RTC Gamay; Hon. Clarence Cherreguine, Presiding Judge of the 1st MCTC Gamay; and Hon. Allan Sixto G. Estudillo, former Acting Presiding Judge of MCTC Gamay and now Provincial Prosecutor of Northern Samar.

During the program, the Sangguniang Bayan of Gamay presented a Resolution of Thanksgiving to Hon. Estudillo in recognition of his dedicated service to the municipality, as well as Resolutions of Support to Hon. Uy and Hon. Cherreguine as they begin their respective judicial functions in Gamay. A Resolution of Gratitude for Hon. Ricardo E. Amos, former Acting Presiding Judge of RTC Gamay, was likewise received through Atty. Cesar Norman Y. Calamay.

RTC Gamay expresses its sincere appreciation to LGU Gamay for the warm reception and continued support toward a more accessible, efficient, and people-centered administration of justice.

RTC Branch 38, Gamay, Northern Samar held a Send-off and Turnover Ceremony today, 23 April 2026, honoring Hon. Ricardo E. Amos, who served as the court’s Acting Presiding Judge for almost six years. During his tenure, he successfully disposed of 325 cases, contributing to the reduction of the court’s docket.

The court also welcomed its new Presiding Judge, Hon. Jinky T. Uy-Lluz, marking a seamless transition in leadership and a continued commitment to the efficient and fair administration of justice.

The significant occasion was also graced by the court’s former Presiding Judge Hon. Mory A. Nueva, Prosecutor Vic Allan E. Rubenecia, Atty. Arman D. Giray, and the staff of MCTC Gamay.

Pursuant to Supreme Court Memorandum Circular No. 02-2026, the Regional Trial Court, Branch 38, Gamay, Northern Samar shall implement a four-day workweek schedule beginning March 9, 2026. Tuesday to Friday shall be designated as on-site workdays, while Monday shall be observed as a work-from-home day.

The Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS) Board has issued ULAS Advisory No. 1, S. 2026, which informs all lawyers of the scheduled launch of the ULAS Portal – Phase 1 on March 3, 2026.

The ULAS Portal refers to the centralized online platform that will be used for purposes of reporting and monitoring compliance with the ULAS Rules and the Manual. Upon the launch of Phase 1, registered organizations may already submit their manifestations of intent to aggregate, and applicants may apply for pre-accreditation or post-accreditation of legal outreach programs and legal missions through the Portal.

All lawyers are advised that access to the ULAS Portal requires an active PJP account.
