𝗜𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢 “𝗢𝗕𝗢𝗬” 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗦 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗠

The family of the late Ronito “Oboy” Morallos Dolim, together with the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan of Gamay, respectfully invites everyone to join the Necrological Service in his honor.

A former Sangguniang Bayan Member of the Municipality of Gamay and former Punong Barangay of Cagamutan del Norte, he devoted a significant part of his life to public service and to the community he served.

Let us come together to remember his life, honor his legacy, and offer our prayers as we bid him a final farewell.

𝗞abataan 𝗔ng 𝗣ag-asa! 💚🩷🤘

Ngayong 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻, ipinagdiriwang natin ang kabataan bilang mahalagang katuwang sa paghubog ng isang mas makatarungan, inklusibo, mapayapa, at maunlad na kinabukasan.

Sa temang “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” ipinapaalala sa atin na maaaring magkakaiba ang ating pinagmulan, karanasan, kultura, at kalagayan, ngunit may mga pangarap na pinag-iisa tayo: ang magkaroon ng mas magandang buhay, mas maraming oportunidad, at isang kinabukasang maaari nating ipagmalaki.

Sa pagdiriwang din ng 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮, nawa'y patuloy nating gamitin ang ating wika bilang tinig ng kabataan—sa pagpapahayag ng mga pangarap, paninindigan, at mga ideyang makatutulong sa ating pamayanan.

At bilang bahagi ng 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 2026, na may temang “Navigating Our Future, Together,” nawa'y makita natin ang kabataan hindi lamang bilang mga tagasunod ng kinabukasan, kundi bilang mga katuwang sa paglikha nito—mula sa ating barangay, sa ating bayan, sa ating bansa, hanggang sa buong ASEAN community.

𝑳𝑮𝑼 𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑩𝑨𝑹𝑴𝑴 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆

The Municipal Government of Gamay, under the leadership of Mayor Timoteo T. Capoquian Jr., together with Vice Mayor Clarita P. Gomba and the Honorable Members of the 25th Sangguniang Bayan, proudly welcomed the Local Legislative Officials and representatives of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) for a three-day benchmarking activity.

Recognizing the exemplary legislative performance of the Municipality of Gamay, the BARMM-MILG selected LGU Gamay as its benchmarking local government unit to learn from the innovations, systems, and best practices that led the Sangguniang Bayan of Gamay to become the National Winner of the 2026 Local Legislative Award (LLA) in the 4th–6th Class Municipality Category.

During their visit, the delegation witnessed firsthand the legislative processes of the Sangguniang Bayan by observing the conduct of the Plenary Session, Committee Hearing, and Public Hearing. They also explored the municipality's legislative management system through the review of key documents, including the Code of Ordinances, records of legislative measures, and the Sanggunian's digital indexing and directory of enacted ordinances and resolutions.

A highlight of the benchmarking activity was the presentation of the LLA Journey of the Sangguniang Bayan of Gamay, where the delegation learned about the initiatives, reforms, and best practices that paved the way for the municipality's national recognition. The sharing of experiences fostered meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas among local legislators and Local Government Operations Officers.

It is both an honor and a privilege to share our legislative journey with our fellow public servants from BARMM. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the MILG and LGUs of Bangsamoro for placing your trust in the Municipality of Gamay and for giving us the opportunity to contribute to your pursuit of legislative excellence. May this benchmarking activity strengthen our partnership, foster lasting friendships, and inspire us all to continue promoting responsive, transparent, and people-centered governance for the communities we serve.

From its humble beginnings as a barrio of Palapag to becoming a thriving municipality through Republic Act No. 90 on February 26, 1947, Gamay stands as a testament to resilience, faith, and unity.

Konse Eddie with Work Immersion Students from Gamay National High School, Anito National High School, and Bangon National High School.

Under Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 30, s. 2017, Work Immersion is a required component for Grade 12 Senior High School students, where they must complete at least 80 hours of hands-on training in real workplace settings.

This program helps learners apply classroom knowledge, develop practical skills, and prepare for employment, entrepreneurship, or further studies while ensuring proper safety standards and appropriate work-hour limits.

𝗞𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘 𝗘𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟭𝗦𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

PPSK Gamay President Konsehal Eddie Pelembergo expressed his full support for the 1st Northern Samar Youth Parliament organized by the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO) of the Provincial Government of Northern Samar. The event was held on October 24–26, 2025, at the Royal Palm Hotel in Pambujan, Northern Samar.

Konsehal Pelembergo served as one of the resource persons during the event, where he shared his expertise on the proper conduct of legislative sessions and the application of parliamentary procedures with the young parliamentarians. The parliament brought together 90 youth delegates from various youth organizations across the province. It provided a meaningful venue for the youth to experience and understand the legislative process in the Philippines, particularly in crafting resolutions and conducting sessions and deliberations.

The outputs and policy proposals crafted during the activity will form part of the priority legislative agenda on youth development of the province. These measures will be sponsored by Board Member Gerardo Gerard A. Miranda, PPSK President, at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Northern Samar.
