LIVE 🔴 | Ceremonial Launching of Proteksyon Para sa Altapresyon at Tabaco, City, Albay

In celebration of the Hypertension Awareness Month, the Department of Health Bicol Center for Health Development (DOH Bicol CHD) in collaboration with the Provincial Goverenment of Albay and the City Government of Tabaco, officially launches the Proteksyon Para sa Altapresyon, a Philippine Hypertension Prevention and Control Initiative.

With Albay province as the pilot implementation site, the event aims to establish a unified whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach to reduce the hypertension burden and improve control through intensified screening and treatment.

The initiative supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen preventive healthcare and reduce the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), particularly hypertension, which remains one of the leading risk factors for heart disease, stroke, and early death in the Philippines.

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, the Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO) Camarines Sur will implement a Compressed Four-Day Workweek starting March 9, 2026.

🕒 Office Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Until further notice)

This initiative supports energy conservation, efficient use of office facilities, and a more sustainable work environment while ensuring the continuous delivery of public health services.
