For the third year now, the youths of Gainza once again gathered for the Gainza Youth Camp with a theme: โ€œYouth on Preparation and Responseโ€ with participants coming from the Sangguniang Kabataans and Youth Organizations from eight barangays. This activity focused on calamity and crime preparedness and response, team building, and youth camaraderie. This is spearheaded by the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Gainza headed by Hon. Maureen San Lorenzo together with the Local Youth Development Officer Eden Tagumpama San Buenaventura in support of our municipal Mayor, Hon. Glenn Romeo Gontang .

A three-day activity that brought youth leaders of Gainza together and time for reforming and preparing as we continue the service to the youths of Gainza.

MUNICIPAL-WIDE LOCAL PLANNING SURVEY AND GEOTAGGING ACTIVITY

The LGU Gainza, through the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), conducted the Municipal-Wide Local Planning Survey and Geotagging Activity from September 22 to October 19, 2026, across the municipality.

The activity aims to establish and update a comprehensive spatial database that will support local development planning, disaster risk reduction, and evidence-based decision-making.

The field teams mapped and geotagged:

๐Ÿ”น Critical Facilities โ€“ barangay halls, health centers, evacuation centers, schools, and public utilities
๐Ÿ”น Lifeline Networks โ€“ roads, bridges, water supply systems, and drainage infrastructure
๐Ÿ”น Urban Structures โ€“ public structures, markets, and commercial sites
๐Ÿ”น Vulnerable Population Clusters

The LGU Gainza, expresses its sincere appreciation to the Punong Barangays, barangay officials, residents, and local representatives for their continued cooperation and assistance to the field teams throughout the conduct of the survey.
