WCPD COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) of Gabaldon Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PCPT MHYLLER A CUARTERON, OIC, in partnership with the Local Youth Council of LGU Gabaldon, continues to bring legal awareness closer to the youth.
WCPD personnel visited schools across the municipality to conduct information and education sessions for students, focusing on their rights, responsibilities, safety, and laws protecting women and children. The activity aimed to raise awareness on child abuse, violence against women and children, bullying, sexual harassment, exploitation, and other threats to the safety and well-being of the youth.
Through education and meaningful engagement, the activity empowered students to recognize their rights, speak up, and seek help when needed.
Together with schools, the local government, and the youth sector, Gabaldon MPS calls on everyone to know their rights, speak up against abuse, report threats, and take action to protect women and children.
