𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗥𝗗𝗖𝗡𝗛𝗦

The Local Government Unit of Flora through the leadership of Mayor Jeofrey T. Blas extended its support to Mayor Ricardo De San Jose Sr. Comprehensive National High School (MRDCNHS) through the donation of school bags and pad paper for the implementation of school's SSLG Project LEAD: Linking, Equity, Action and Development for Agta Learners and SARDO (Students at Risk of Dropping Out).

This innovation project serves as a strategic intervention to address systemic gaps in education, particularly among Indigenous Peoples learners and students vulnerable to dropping out. A total of 40 Agta learners from Greenhills Elementary School in Brgy. Mallig and 40 identified SARDOs of MRDCNHS will benefit from the initiative.

Through this collaborative effort, LGU Flora continues to uphold its commitment to inclusive education and learner support, ensuring that no student is left behind in the pursuit of quality education and a brighter future.

FLORA, APAYAO || The Local Government Unit of Flora participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 through the collective efforts of various LGU offices and national line agencies.

Employees joined the clean-up and preparation activities in different elementary and secondary schools across the municipality, helping provide learners with a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for School Year 2026–2027.

The activity also highlighted the spirit of Bayanihan and the LGU’s continued support for education.

𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬. 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦. 𝗣𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿’𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽

New Champions were officially crowned during the Awarding Ceremony of the Mayor and Vice Mayor’s Cup as Poblacion East completed a remarkable double-title run in both Volleyball and Basketball after overcoming Poblacion West in the finals.

Showcasing teamwork, discipline, and determination throughout the tournament, Poblacion East rose to the occasion on the biggest stage and proved their dominance under pressure. Their victories not only secured two championship crowns but also established them as the tournament’s most outstanding team this season.

In Volleyball, Poblacion West claimed the 1st Runner-up honors, followed by San Jose as 2nd Runner-up and Atok as 3rd Runner-up. In Basketball, Poblacion West likewise finished as 1st Runner-up, while Bagutong secured the 2nd Runner-up spot and Sta. Maria earned the 3rd Runner-up honors.

The finals atmosphere brought together players, supporters, officials, and sports enthusiasts in a celebration of athletic excellence, resilience, and sportsmanship. More than a competition for titles, the Mayor and Vice Mayor’s Cup strengthened camaraderie and unity among the participating barangays through the spirit of sports.

Individual excellence was also recognized during the awarding ceremony.

In Volleyball, the Mythical 6 awardees were 𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐄 𝐗𝐘𝐙𝐀 𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐋 as Best Setter, 𝐉𝐘𝐊𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐎 as Best Server, 𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐅𝐀𝐘𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐋 as Best Outside Spiker, 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍 as Best Opposite Spiker, 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐋𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐒 as Best Middle Blocker, and 𝐉𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐀 as Best Libero. 𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐉𝐄𝐋 was named Conference MVP, 𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐀𝐋 received the Rookie of the Year award, while 𝐀𝐋𝐘𝐙𝐙𝐀 𝐃𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄 earned the Finals MVP honors.

For Basketball, the Mythical 5 awardees were 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐌𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍 as Best Point Guard, 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐉𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐒 as Best Shooting Guard, 𝐉𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐍 as Best Small Forward, 𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐔𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐎 as Best Power Forward, and 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐎 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐒 as Best Center. 𝐑𝐇𝐄𝐘𝐙𝐀𝐑 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐀 was awarded Most Improved Player, 𝐀𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐀 was named Rookie of the Year, while 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐌𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍 earned the Finals MVP award.
