Empowering Flora's Future: MLGOO, LYDO, and SK Federation President Launch SK Mandatory Training
July 4, 2024 - marked a significant milestone for Flora as the Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO) – Mr. Roderick D. Begtang, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) Designate – Mrs. Sheryl Grace V. Gorospe, and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation President – Hon. Nelkie Xyza S. Butel joined forces to inaugurate the SK Mandatory Training at Karibu Farmside Resort, Quirino, Luna, Apayao. This collaborative initiative aimed to equip Flora's SK officials with essential skills and knowledge vital for effective governance and community leadership.
Under the strategic leadership of the MLGOO, LYDO, and the SK Federation President, the training program was meticulously tailored to address the diverse responsibilities and challenges faced by SK officials. Sessions were designed to cover a comprehensive range of topics including Decentralization and Local Governance, Sangguniang Kabataan History and Salient Features, Meetings and Resolution, Planning and Budgeting, and Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards tailored to Flora's unique needs.
This partnership between MLGOO, LYDO, and the SK Federation President underscores the collective commitment in empowering the youth leaders.
