He is Ronald Gadayan, a Maintenance Crew member at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) since 2012. A proud Antiqueño from the Gadayan Clan of Brgy. San Pedro, San Jose, Antique, Ronald has become a symbol of integrity and selflessness. Despite criticisms and temptations, he has consistently returned valuables left behind by passengers, amounting to a total of ₱3,147,500 over the years.

Highlights of Ronald’s Honesty:

₱2.4 million in cash and jewelry returned to a Cebu businessman.

$5,000 cash returned to an OFW.

₱80,000 from four wallets returned to their owners.

₱17,000 cash found in a restroom.

Various gadgets, including 7 cellphones worth ₱150,000 and a box of jewelry worth ₱100,000.

Ronald’s honesty has earned him numerous awards, but he remains a janitor to this day.

Ronald’s story reminds us that integrity is priceless. May his example inspire others to uplift those who embody true heroism.

The provincial government of Benguet with the Department of Education-Cordillera gear up for the hosting of the Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA) 2025 Regional Sports Meet.

Set on February 23 to 28, 2025 in the capital town of La Trinidad, the CARAA is expected to be attended by about 4,500 athletes, coaches, trainers and school personnel for the duration of the regional sports meet and another 1,500 local officials and other guests and visitors on the opening day.

Towana Looney, the 53-year-old woman from Alabama who received a gene-edited pig kidney last November, has become the longest-living recipient of an animal organ transplant.
