𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙙𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.

In times of disasters and emergencies, the immediate response of the Local Government Unit plays a crucial role in saving lives and minimizing damage. More often than not, LGU employees become the de facto first responders; the first to act, assist, and make critical decisions before specialized response teams arrive.

Recognizing this vital responsibility, the Municipality of Esperanza, through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office , successfully conducted the Integrated Emergency Response Training for LGU Employees. This initiative aimed to equip personnel with essential knowledge and hands-on skills in emergency response, strengthening their capacity to respond effectively during critical incidents.

The training highlighted not only the importance of preparedness but also the value of coordination, discipline, and presence of mind in times of crisis. Through both lecture discussions and practical exercises, participants were given the opportunity to understand and apply life-saving techniques that can make a difference when it matters most.

In this light, we extend our sincere appreciation to the MLGU and BLGU employees who actively participated in this activity. Your commitment to learning and your willingness to serve beyond your regular duties reflect a shared dedication to public safety and community resilience.

We likewise express our deepest gratitude to our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Jeffrey Justin T. Talisic, for the unwavering support to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) initiatives, which continues to drive and strengthen our efforts toward a more prepared municipality.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to the MDRRMO Dimasalang for their invaluable assistance in the conduct of this training, and to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Dimasalang for generously allowing the use of their facility for the High-Angle Rescue exercises.

The Municipality of Esperanza remains steadfast in its mission to build a safer, more prepared, and more resilient community, empowered by capable individuals who are ready to respond at any given time.

📢 WEATHER UPDATE

Based on Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 12 issued by DOST-PAGASA at 8:00 PM today, the Municipality of Esperanza is currently under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TWCS) No. 1.

Kindergarten classes are automatically suspended.
For other grade levels, classes will continue unless a suspension is officially announced by the Local Government Unit or school authorities.

Everyone is advised to stay alert and monitor official updates. Stay safe, Esperanza.

📢 WEATHER ADVISORY | TROPICAL STORM ADA

In connection with Tropical Storm Ada, and based on the latest official advisories, there is no basis for the declaration of class suspension in the Municipality of Esperanza at this time.

Currently, no rainfall warning has been issued, and no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) is raised over the area.

Rest assured that the Local DRRM Office is continuously monitoring official weather updates. While conditions remain stable, the public is encouraged to stay prepared, remain alert, and keep informed through official announcements.

Any updates will be issued promptly should the situation change.

Pursuant to MDRRMC Memo No. 12-02, suspension of classes is hereby lifted effective tomorrow, December 8, 2025. Classes in all levels will resume as scheduled.
