Paitan Integrated School Intramurals 2026: Play Great, Be Different, Excel Forever
PAITAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL â August 19, 2026.The spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, unity, and excellence filled Paitan Integrated School as the school successfully culminated its Intramurals 2026 with an awarding ceremony on August 19. Anchored on the theme âPlay Great, Be Different, Excel Forever,â the celebration highlighted not only athletic skills but also the values, character, and determination of every learner.
The Intramurals officially opened on August 15, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. with a colorful parade and opening program attended by learners, teachers, parents, and school personnel. The event marked a meaningful beginning for the school community under the leadership of its new School Head, Mr. Jay Miko B. Lesondra.
The opening ceremony featured the Philippine National Anthem, opening prayer, Escalante City Hymn, welcome message, entrance of the torch, and hoisting of the school and grade-level banners. These ceremonial activities showcased the unity, pride, and enthusiasm of the participating learners.
A significant part of the program was the Official Declaration of Intramurals 2026, delivered by Mr. Ronnie B. Villaran, School Sports Officer. This was followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship, led by Winston Life C. Villaran, a Badminton ElementaryâProvincial Level athlete, and the Oath of Officiating Officials, administered by Mr. Steven M. Santinor, Teacher V.
Adding support to the celebration, Mr. Larry P. Teogan, PTA President, delivered a message encouraging learners to demonstrate discipline, respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competitions.
The game proper began at 9:30 a.m. on August 15, with competitions continuing on August 17, 2026 at 3:00-5:00 pm. Learners showcased their skills, determination, and competitive spirit in various events, including badminton, volleyball, basketball, track and field (athletics), chess, sepak takraw, and E-Sports (Mobile Legends).
More than a showcase of athletic abilities, the Intramurals provided learners with opportunities to develop important values such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, respect, leadership, and fair play. Teachers, coaches, officials, and parents worked together to ensure the successful conduct of the different competitions.
Overall Winners Recognized
The much-awaited awarding ceremony was held on August 19, 2026, officially bringing Intramurals 2026 to a close. Outstanding athletes, winning teams, and participants were recognized for their achievements, dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship throughout the competitions.
In the Elementary Level, Grade 5 emerged as the Overall Champion, demonstrating remarkable performance and consistency across the different sporting events. Grade 6 secured the 1st Placer position, while Grade 4 earned 2nd Placer.
In the High School Level, Grade 10 claimed the title of Overall Champion after displaying strong performances and teamwork throughout the competition. Grade 12 finished as 1st Placer, while Grade 9 secured 2nd Placer.
The achievements of the winning grade levels reflected not only their athletic abilities but also their teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Their victories became a source of pride for their classmates, coaches, teachers, and the entire Paitan Integrated School community.
The awarding ceremony was not only a celebration of victories but also a recognition of the hard work and determination demonstrated by every learner who participated. Whether they won a medal or not, each athlete gained valuable experiences that can help them become more disciplined, confident, resilient, and respectful individuals.
The theme âPlay Great, Be Different, Excel Foreverâ served as a reminder that true excellence goes beyond winning medals. To 'play great' means to give one's best effort; to 'be different' means to demonstrate character, discipline, and respect; and to 'excel forever' means to continue striving for improvement even beyond the competition.
For Paitan Integrated School, the successful Intramurals 2026 reflected the school's commitment to developing learners not only academically but also physically, socially, and emotionally. Under the leadership of Mr. Jay Miko B.
