ANNOUNCEMENT

The Tomongtong Mangrove Eco Trail will be closed on April 2–3, 2026 (Maundy Thursday & Good Friday) in observance of the Lenten Season.
Regular operations will resume on Holy Saturday.

We encourage everyone to take this time for reflection and meaningful observance.

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of E. B. Magalona wishes to inform the public that the Tomangtong Mangrove Eco Trail will be temporarily closed on October 9, 2025 (Thursday) in solemn observance of the interment of the late Mr. Jojo G. Vargas, our beloved Municipal Environment Officer.

This brief closure is made to honor and give our final respects to Mr. Vargas, whose dedication, leadership, and passion for environmental protection have left a lasting legacy in our community.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your kind understanding and support during this time of mourning.

Operations of the Tomongtong Mangrove Eco Trail will resume on the following day.
