At 0900H on 06 May 2026, as part of the ICARE Program, Coast Guard Sub-Station El Salvador, in collaboration with City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office CDRRMO El Salvador City and the Medical Team Northern Mindanao, successfully conducted an Information Drive on the Safety, Security, and Environmental Numbering (SSEN) System, alongside an orientation on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the fisherfolks of Barangay Molugan and Barangay Health Workers. This collaborative activity aimed to strengthen community safety, enhance emergency preparedness, and equip participants with essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills for effective response during maritime emergencies and other critical situations.

This joint initiative strengthened community safety, enhanced emergency preparedness, and equipped coastal stakeholders with essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills necessary for responding effectively to maritime emergencies and other critical situations.

Through the continued implementation of the ICARE Program, this collaborative effort promotes safer, stronger, and more resilient coastal communities.
