The Local Government Unit of El Nido hereby issues this advisory in view of the holidays scheduled this week:

📅 30-31 March 2026 (Monday)
All government offices shall observe the regular work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

📅 01 April 2026 (Wednesday)
Pursuant to Office of the Municipal Mayor Memorandum Order No. 26-05, s.2026, and in observance of the Holy Week to provide the faithful sufficient time for solemn reflection and religious devotion, office work is hereby suspended on Wednesday, April 01, 2026, from 12:00 noon onwards.

The public is hereby advised to schedule their transactions accordingly.

⚠️ Frontline and emergency response offices shall continue to operate under their regular schedule (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of essential services.

In virtue of Memorandum Order No. 26-051, March 16, 2026 (Monday) is declared a Local Special Holiday in El Nido in observance of Bacuit Festival Day.

All government offices and public schools will have no work and no classes.
Private offices may observe the holiday at the discretion of their management.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the Bacuit Festival celebration. 🎉

The Provincial Assessor’s Office will be conducting public consultation regarding the Proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for the Province of Palawan. This initiative is in compliance with the mandates of the Republic Act No. 12001 or the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

In the interest of transparency, fairness and public participation, we invite all land owners, real property owners, business owners and stakeholders to a public consultation to review and provide comments on the proposed SMV. Your insights are vital in ensuring thar the new valuation reflects fair, equitable, and market-based property values. The public consultation shall be conducted in-person, online or in a hybrid format, as maybe applicable and shall be held on:

Sa araw na ito 129 taon ang nakararaaan, binitay sa pammagitan ng pagbaril si Jose Rizal sa Bagumbayan (kilala ngayon bilang Liwasang Rizal Luneta). Pinaratangan ng mga Espanyol si Rizal bilang diwa ng Himagsikan laban sa pamahalaang kolonyal.

Bilang pag-alaala sa kaniya at sa mga Pilipinong nagbuwis ng buhay sa landas ng paglaya, itinalaga ni Pangulong Emilio Aguinaldo ang ika-30 ng Disyembre bilang pista opisyal at pambansang araw ng pagluluksa.

Magkakaroon ng pag-aalay ng bulaklak sa puntod ni Rizal sa Pambansang Bantayog ni Jose Rizal, Liwasang Rizal Luneta, Maynila. Magkakaroon din ng lektura at art workshop sa NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal Fort Santiago (Dambanang Jose Rizal Fort Santiago) sa Intramuros, Maynila.
