Activity: First Formation for CY 2026

I. Purpose
To formally commence Calendar Year 2026 through the conduct of the first formation and to orient personnel on the mission and goals of the Philippine Army Reserve Force.

II. Participants
Personnel of Charlie Company, 1703rd RRIBn, 1703rd CDC, 17th RCDG, PA RESCOM.

III. Key Personnel
2LT Joseph E. Estolloso, PA (RES) – Company Commander
SGT Anabel Quimat, PA (RES) – First Sergeant

IV. Activity Proper
The activity was led by SGT Anabel Quimat, PA (RES), First Sergeant, under the supervision of 2LT Joseph E. Estolloso, PA (RES), Company Commander. The formation was successfully conducted as the unit’s first official assembly for Calendar Year 2026.
During the formation, 2LT Estolloso delivered a briefing to the personnel regarding the primary mission, objectives, and expectations of the Philippine Army Reserve Force. He emphasized the importance of discipline, readiness, unity, and dedication to duty in support of the Philippine Army’s mandate.

Successful conduct of the first formation for CY 2026
Personnel were oriented on the goals and responsibilities of the Reserve Force
Reinforcement of command guidance and unit direction for the year

Personnel from Charlie Company, 1703rd RRIBn, 1703rd CDC, 17th RCDG, RESCOM, Philippine Army, led by 2LT JOSEPH ESTOLLOSO INF PA (RES), Company Commander, together with the Headquarters Company of the same battalion under LTC JOEL BECIRA INF PA (RES), Company Commander, with the supervision and guidance of LTC NIÑO ESTOYA MNSA PA (RES), Battalion Commander, and LTC ARNEL LACHAMA MI PA, CDC Director, conducted joint efforts in loading and transporting relief goods at Puerto Princesa City for deployment to El Nido, Palawan.

This coordinated humanitarian action was in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) El Nido, MSWD EL NIDO ,aiming to support affected communities and provide timely assistance to families in need.

The activity showcases the spirit of Bayanihan, unity, and dedication of the Reserve Force in supporting disaster response and community service operations.

Personnel from Charlie Company, 1703rd RRIBn, 1703rd CDC, 17th RCDG, RESCOM, Philippine Army, led by 2LT JOSEPH E. ESTOLLOSO INF (RES) PA, Company Commander, under the supervision of LTC NIÑO ESTOYA MNSA (RES) PA, Battalion Commander, and LTC ARNEL LACHAMA MI PA,CDC DIRECTOR together with personnel from Philippine Coast Guard – Northern Palawan, Joint Task Force Malampaya, Philippine Navy Reserves, 11th Special Forces Company (Airborne), MDDRMO El Nido, and the Local Government Unit of El Nido, successfully conducted Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Operations to the affected families of Typhoon TINO in Barangay Villa Paz and Barangay San Fernando, El Nido, Palawan.

This collaborative effort reaffirmed the commitment of the uniformed services and local agencies in extending timely support, restoring normalcy, and ensuring the welfare and safety of communities in times of calamity. Relief goods, food packs, essential supplies, and initial rehabilitation support were distributed to the affected households to aid in their recovery and immediate survival needs.

The operation highlighted unity of effort and Bayanihan Spirit, showcasing the strength of inter-agency cooperation in disaster response. It reflects the unwavering dedication of our soldiers, reservists, civil government partners, volunteers, and coast guard members who continue to serve “Para sa Diyos, Bayan, at Mamamayan.”
