I. PARTICIPATING UNIT
Personnel from Charlie Company, 1703rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn), 1703rd Community Defense Center (CDC), 17th Regional Community Defense Group (RCDG), Philippine Army Reserve Command, led by Sgt Anabel Quimat PA (RES), Company First Sergeant, under the supervision of 2LT Joseph Estolloso PA (RES), Company Commander, and with the leadership of LTC Niño Estoya MNSA PA (RES), Battalion Commander, and LTC Arnel Lachama (MI) PA, CDC Director, participated in the tree growing activity.
II. DETAILS OF THE ACTIVITY
At about 0600H on 12 September 2026, personnel of Charlie Company participated in a Tree Growing Activity conducted at Barangay Villa Libertad, El Nido, Palawan.
The activity was conducted in coordination with personnel from the 11th Special Forces Company, led by CPT Justlee Bala-Oy (INF) PA, Company Commander, together with representatives from various government agencies, private-sector organizations, and other stakeholders.
The participating personnel actively contributed to the planting and nurturing of trees within the designated area. The activity promoted environmental protection, community involvement, and strengthened cooperation among the military, government agencies, private organizations, and the local community.
III. PURPOSE
The activity aimed to:
Promote environmental conservation and protection;
Increase awareness of the importance of trees and a healthy environment;
Encourage community participation in environmental activities;
Strengthen cooperation and camaraderie among participating agencies and organizations; and
Demonstrate the commitment of the Philippine Army Reserve Force to supporting sustainable and resilient communities.
IV. OUTCOME
The activity was successfully conducted through the active participation and cooperation of all involved personnel and stakeholders.

Conduct of Relief Pack Distribution and Medical Mission

I. ACTIVITY
On 10–11 September 2026, personnel of Charlie Company, 1703rd RRIBN, 1703rd CDC, 17th RCDG, Philippine Army Reserve Command, led by Sgt Anabel Quimat PA (RES), Company First Sergeant, under the supervision of 2LT Joseph Estolloso PA (RES), Company Commander, and under the leadership of LTC Niño Estoya MNSA PA (RES), Battalion Commander, and LTC Arnel Lachama (MI) PA, CDC DIRECTOR ,successfully participated in a two-day humanitarian assistance activity in Barangay New Ibajay and Barangay Teneguiban, El Nido, Palawan.

II. EX*****ON
The activity consisted of the distribution of relief packs and the conduct of a medical mission intended to provide assistance and basic medical services to residents of the identified barangays.
The activity was conducted in coordination with personnel from the 11th Special Forces Company (11th SFC) and was spearheaded by the private sector, with the active participation and support of the Philippine Army Reserve personnel.
III. ACCOMPLISHMENT
The activity was successfully accomplished through the effective coordination, cooperation, teamwork, and unity of all participating personnel and stakeholders. The relief distribution and medical mission provided valuable assistance to the beneficiaries and strengthened the partnership between the military, private sector, and local communities.

IV. CONCLUSION
The successful completion of the two-day activity demonstrated the commitment of the participating personnel to humanitarian assistance and community service. The cooperation and unity among all involved agencies and organizations significantly contributed to the overall success of the activity.

UNIT: Charlie Company, 1703rd RRIBN, 1703rd CDC, 17th RCDG

Personnel of Charlie Company, led by Sgt Anabel Quimat PA (RES), Company First Sergeant, under the supervision of 2LT Joseph E. Estolloso PA (RES), Company Commander, with the leadership of LTC ARNEL O LACHAMA MI PA CDC DIRECTOR AND LTC NIÑO ESTOYA MNSA PA(RES) BATTALION COMMANDER,took part in Medical Response Training held from 11–15 August 2026.

The training was led by Western Command (WESCOM) in coordination with the Guam National Guard.

Overall, the activity helped boost the personnel’s skills in emergency response, medical assistance, and inter-agency coordination, which improved the unit’s readiness and effectiveness.

The activity was completed successfully.

The unit successfully participated in the 2026 National Disaster Resilience Month activities hosted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of El Nido, Palawan, in coordination with personnel from the El Nido Municipal Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard–Northern Palawan, Joint Task Force Malampaya, and other partner government and private agencies.
This joint activity demonstrated the commitment of the Philippine Army Reserve Command and its partner agencies to strengthen disaster preparedness, promote inter-agency cooperation, and uphold their shared mission of protecting lives, safeguarding communities, and building a more disaster-resilient nation.
