An investment in education is an investment in our youth’s future!

Today, June 4, 2026, Turn Over Ceremony of 1-Storey, 2-Classroom Building to Villa Libertad National High School.

Providing a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment for our students has always been one of our top priorities. Seeing the smiles on the faces of our teachers and students makes every effort worth it. Thank you to everyone who made this project possible. Isang malaking karangalan ang tanggapin sa ating tanggapan ang mga mahuhusay at dedikadong manlalaro na lalaban at magpapakitang-gilas sa darating na Baragatan Festival 2026!

Kasama ang ating masipag na Sports Coordinator, Sir Dennis Sabroso, at si Sir Mark Ryan Cacacha, pormal nilang ipinakilala ang ating mga delegasyon sa Boxing at Basketball na handang-handa nang itaas ang bandila ng El Nido.

Humanga tayo sa tapang ng ating Boxing Team—mula sa ating mga malalakas na Kids Boxers, School Boys, Juniors, at Youth, hanggang sa ating mga Elite Boxers, sa gabay ng kanilang mga coaches na sina Rustico Macaraeg at Elimar Felipe, at trainers Lorence Rosas at Albert Monzalez.

Hindi rin magpapahuli ang ating Basketball Under 25 Inter-Municipality Team sa pamumuno nina Coaches Baltazar Manangquil, Dennis Sabroso, Hon. Gerald Diaz, Sonny Monje, at Mark Ryan Cacacha. Kitang-kita ang determinasyon at pagkakaisa sa mata ng bawat manlalaro!

Sa ating mga atleta, bitbit ninyo ang puso at suporta ng buong El Nido. Patunayan natin ang galing, disiplina, at sportsmanship ng mga El Nidian! Abot-langit ang ating tiwala sa inyo.

Official Announcement: El Nido’s Representative to Mutya ng Palawan 2026

Mayad nga adlaw, El Nido!

We are proud to announce that El Nido will be sending a representative to the Mutya ng Palawan 2026 pageant.

After careful review of the Mutya ng Palawan 2026 requirements and close coordination with the provincial organizers, the committee appointed Ms. Ma. Ivy Jane Socrates as El Nido’s official delegate.

This means that our reigning Binibining El Nido 2026, Ms. Anna Nicole Bacaltos, will not be proceeding as the official delegate to Mutya ng Palawan. We also wish to share that the other elemental queens of Binibining El Nido 2026 and 2025 did not meet the specific eligibility and qualification criteria set by Mutya ng Palawan 2026.

We want to be clear: this decision does not diminish any of our queens or their titles.

Ms. Anna Nicole Bacaltos proudly represented El Nido with grace, heart, and authenticity throughout Binibining El Nido 2026. She embodied our town’s unique spirit, culture, and beauty in every appearance and advocacy. A pageant requirement does not define her worth, and she remains a queen who made El Nido proud.

The same goes for our elemental queens from 2026 and 2025. Each of them brought their own strength, advocacy, and pride to our stage, and they remain part of the legacy of Binibining El Nido.

At the same time, we believe Binibining Ivy carries the qualities that align with the qualifications and advocacy platform required for Mutya ng Palawan 2026. We are confident that she will gracefully carry the name of El Nido, represent our town on a bigger stage, and bring her advocacy to inspire more people across Palawan.

Both Binibining El Nido and Mutya ng Palawan celebrate the beauty, intelligence, and purpose of Palawan women—just through different platforms and standards.

Let us continue to support Anna Nicole and our elemental queens as proud representatives of El Nido, and rally behind Ma. Ivy as she prepares for Mutya ng Palawan 2026.

Ngayong araw, Mayo 20, 2026, matagumpay nating isinagawa ang Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Payout sa ating Municipal Covered Court. Ito ay sa pakikipagtulungan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at ng ating Lokal na Pamahalaan ng El Nido sa pamamagitan ng ating Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

Ang tulong-pangkabuhayan na ito ay naglalayong magbigay ng dagdag-kapital at suporta sa ating mga kababayan upang mas mapalago pa ang kanilang mga munting negosyo at mapabuti ang antas ng pamumuhay ng kanilang pamilya.

Ang buong bayan ng El Nido, sa pamumuno ng inyong lingkod, Mayor Edna Gacot Lim, ay lubos na nagpapasalamat kay Senator Erwin Tulfo sa kanyang malasakit at pagbibigay ng pondo para sa livelihood program na ito. Ang inyong suporta ay napakalaking ambag sa pag-angat ng lokal na ekonomiya ng ating munisipyo.

Isang espesyal na pasasalamat din ang ating ipinapaabot kay Ms. Joy Bundal, Project Development Officer-II ng DSWD, sa kanyang dedikasyon, sipag, at walang sawang paggabay upang matiyak na maayos at matagumpay na maihatid ang programang ito sa ating mga benepisyaryo.

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the teams from PhilHealth Palawan (Local Health Insurance Office) and the Ayala Foundation Inc. to the Office of the Mayor today.

We had a highly productive meeting with Mr. Wilfred Hernandez, Ms. Pote, and Ms. Hope from PhilHealth; Ms. Chiara Cruza and Ms. Zara from the Ayala Foundation; alongside our very own Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Jo-Ann Huerto, and Ms. Shiela from the MHO.
