Isabela State University Renews NPC Data Privacy Compliance
University reinforces commitment to responsible data governance under the leadership of President Dr. Boyet L. Batang and the support of the Vice Presidents.
Isabela State University (ISU) proudly announces the successful renewal of its Data Privacy Compliance registration with the National Privacy Commission (NPC), reaffirming the University’s unwavering commitment to protecting personal data and maintaining the highest standards of privacy, transparency, and responsible information management.
The renewal reflects the strong leadership and initiative of University President Dr. Boyet L. Batang whose administration continues to prioritize digital security, institutional compliance, and responsible governance across all campuses of the University.
The achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts and full support of the University’s Vice Presidents:

Through the leadership of the ISU Data Protection Office, the University continues to strengthen its data privacy management framework by implementing comprehensive organizational, physical, and technical security measures that safeguard personal data entrusted by students, faculty members, employees, alumni, and stakeholders.
As part of the renewal process, the University conducted a thorough review and enhancement of its data processing systems, privacy policies, and security protocols to ensure full compliance with the provisions of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the regulatory standards established by the National Privacy Commission.
