ππ‘ π£ππ’π§π’π¦ | The 1602nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade (RRIBde) conducted its 2nd Mustering for Calendar Year 2026, led by Deputy Brigade Commander LTC ROSALINDA P. CALLANG GSC PA (RES). The activity served as an important gathering of Officers and Enlisted Personnel aimed at ensuring the accountability of members, updating personnel records, and strengthening the operational readiness of the brigade. The mustering also provided an opportunity to reinforce coordination, communication, and unity among the members of the brigade, ensuring that the unit remains prepared to respond effectively to national defense requirements, disaster response operations, and community support initiatives.
During the activity, the Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative (PAFCPIC) conducted an orientation for the Officers and Enlisted Personnel of the 1602nd RRIBde. PAFCPIC is a cooperative organization dedicated to supporting the financial well-being of military personnel and their families by providing accessible financial services, savings and loan programs, and livelihood opportunities. The orientation aimed to inform members about the cooperativeβs programs and services, promoting financial awareness and encouraging responsible financial management among reservists.
The leadership of the brigade also took the opportunity to recognize the dedication, resilience, and sacrifices of the men and women of the 1602nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade. As reservists who balance their civilian professions with their commitment to military service, the members continue to demonstrate unwavering patriotism and readiness to support the Philippine Army in times of national need. Their willingness to serve highlights the vital role of the reserve force in strengthening the countryβs defense capability and supporting humanitarian and disaster response efforts.
In line with the 129th Anniversary of the Philippine Army, the brigade actively participated in a blood donation activity as part of the celebration. This initiative reflected the brigadeβs strong commitment to community service and humanitarian support, contributing to life-saving efforts for those in need of blood supply. Through this activity, the members of the 1602nd RRIBde demonstrated the true spirit of volunteerism and solidarity, reinforcing the values of service, unity, and compassion that define the Philippine Army and its reserve forces.
