The Dumaran’s Local Culture and the Arts Council convened earlier today, for the presentation, discussion, and approval of its Annual Investment Plan 2027, in line with its continuing efforts to preserve, strengthen, and promote the rich cultural heritage and artistic identity of Dumaran.

The meeting was presided over by Municipal Administrator Arnold Benedel T. Maderaje, representing the Honorable Municipal Mayor and Council Chair, Richard R. Herrera, together with council members and stakeholders from various sectors.

The Mutya ng Dumaran 2025 Organizing Committee, in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Dumaran, respectfully informs the public that the reigning Mutya ng Dumaran 2025 will not represent the Municipality of Dumaran in the upcoming Mutya ng Palawan 2026 pageant due to the strict enforcement of the minimum height requirement set by the Mutya ng Palawan Organization.

In accordance with this, the next-in-rank finalist who fulfills all the qualifications will officially represent Dumaran.

The Organizing Committee and the reigning Mutya fully respect and uphold the guidelines of the Mutya ng Palawan Organization. While we sincerely feel sorry for our reigning queen for not being given the opportunity to represent Dumaran on the provincial stage, we remain proud of her grace, dedication, and service to the community. She will continue to fulfill her duties as Mutya ng Dumaran 2025, using her voice and presence to serve Dumaran with pride and commitment.

We sincerely thank everyone for their understanding, kindness, and continued support.

MARANEG BEACH, an almost 7-kilometer stretch of white sand quietly resting in Barangay Bacao, Dumaran. 🌊✨

There are places that do not need loud crowds or luxury to leave a mark on your soul. Some places simply welcome you with silence, soft waves, and the feeling of finally slowing down. Maraneg is one of them.

Beat the heat ngayong tag-init and find comfort in the calmness of this hidden paradise. For those longing for exclusivity, peace, and a pause from the endless noise of the world, this place waits patiently at the edge of the sea.

The journey is not easy. From Puerto Princesa, it takes around 5 hours to reach Barangay Sta. Teresita, followed by a 45-minute fiber boat ride to Poblacion, then another hour on a motorcycle or tricycle along some rough and unpaved roads. But somehow, the distance makes it even more meaningful.

Every dusty path, every wave crossed, and every rough road becomes part of the adventure.

And when you finally arrive and see the endless shoreline touched by the calm blue sea, you realize that some of the most beautiful places are the ones that take time to reach. 🤍

𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗢-𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗫𝗛𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗧

As part of the celebration of the 65th Dumaran Founding Anniversary, all barangays in the Municipality of Dumaran are warmly invited to join the Agro-Trade Fair and Exhibit.

This event will serve as a platform to showcase each barangay’s agricultural products, local delicacies, handicrafts, and other proudly made local goods. It also aims to promote local livelihood opportunities, entrepreneurship, and the unique identity of our barangays.

Let us come together in celebrating the richness of Dumaran’s culture, resources, and local industries by participating in this meaningful activity.
