𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐏𝐏𝐎, 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐁𝐒𝐏𝐎

The Federation of Iloilo Provincial Service Point Officers (FIPSPO) accompanied by Provincial Population Officer Atty. Ruel Von Superio paid a courtesy visit to Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. in connection with their planned province-wide tree growing activity in support of “Tanum Iloilo Towards a Forest Province” campaign.

The activity, dubbed “Tanum PPO, Tanum BSPO,” is scheduled on June 25, 2026 in coordination with the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office (PGENRO).

The initiative aims to mobilize Provincial and Barangay Service Point Officers in various areas across the province as part of the continuing campaign to expand forest cover and promote environmental sustainability.

Population Program Officer (PPO) of the Municipality of Dumangas, Ms. Reajean D. Calibar held a Barangay Service Point Officer (BSPO) Volunteers Regular Monthly Meeting.

BSPO Management is a key function of the Population Office through its PPO's serving as the vital conduit between the Provincial Office and the Barangay Population and Demographic Data of the entire Province, aligned with the development mantra of MoRProGRes Iloilo!

FOR STRONGER FOUNDATIONS ✨

Pre-Marriage Orientation and Counseling (PMOC) sessions were conducted for couples preparing for marriage through a collaborative effort led by Ms. Reajean Diaz Calibar, Population Program Officer from the Iloilo Provincial Population Office, with partners Ms. Sharon D. Pudadera, Social Welfare Officer II from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, and Ms. Jade Claire D. Villa, Nurse II from the Municipal Health Office.

These session aims to develop parental approaches that ensure stronger families and communities for a stronger nation. Anchored to the Program for Resilience of Iloilo in Mind and Emotion (PRIME), this effort ultimately contributes to the achievement of the Province's development mantra, 'MoRProGRes ILOILO' – A Movement for a Robust, Progressive, Globally Competitive and Resilient Iloilo.

Ms. Reajean D. Calibar, Population Program Officer I of Dumangas, together with Ms. Meril Grace B. Tanjusay, Population Program Officer I from Banate under the Office of the Provincial Population Officer, conducted a lecture on Adolescent Health and Youth Development during the Youth Development Session of 4Ps Office at Liga Hall, Dumangas on April 27, 2026.

The session focused on Mental Health Awareness: Understanding and Managing Stress and Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy, equipping young people with essential knowledge to make healthier and more informed life choices.

A special thanks to Ms. Robelyn P. Diaresco, Project Development Officer II / MOO Team Leader of the Dumangas 4Ps Office, for inviting us and facilitating this valuable activity for the youth. 💙
