𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐛𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟏 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 was filled with engaging discussions and learning activities designed to prepare the JobStarters for the workplace. The sessions focused on Problem Solving and Decision Making, Cultivating Self-Confidence and Maintaining a Positive Attitude, Three Keys to Being a Good Employee and Work Ethics of a Production Worker, and Level Up Your Teamwork.

Throughout the day, participants actively took part in group activities, sharing of experiences, and practical exercises that enhanced their ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, and build confidence in their personal and professional lives. The discussions emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, demonstrating strong work ethics, and embodying the qualities of a responsible and productive employee. The JobStarters also learned the value of effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration in achieving common goals. Through interactive activities, they gained a deeper appreciation of how teamwork contributes to workplace success and productivity.

On the second day of the Life Skills Training held at Oasis Accommodations Inc., JobStarters participated in sessions on Good Work Ethics, Digital Literacy, Creating Your Professional Presence, and Acting a Job Interview. Through discussions and practical activities, participants learned the importance of professionalism, positive work attitudes, responsible workplace behavior, and the effective use of technology in today’s job market.

The training also provided opportunities for JobStarters to build their confidence and improve their communication skills by creating a professional image and participating in mock job interviews. Overall, the activities helped enhance their skills, knowledge, and personal development, preparing them to become more employable and ready to meet the demands of the workforce.
