Food Safety Tips karong Tag-Init

𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐠-𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭!

Ngayong tag-init, mas mabilis mapanis ang pagkain dahil sa init ng panahon. Upang maiwasan ang pagkakasakit dulot ng kontaminado o sirang pagkain, sundin ang mga paalalang ito:

✔️ Maghugas ng kamay bago, habang, at pagkatapos maghanda ng pagkain
✔️ First in, first out (FIFO) – unahin ang naunang stock o malapit nang mag-expire
✔️ Ihiwalay ang hilaw at lutong pagkain upang maiwasan ang kontaminasyon
✔️ Ilagay sa malinis at natatakpang lalagyan ang pagkain
✔️ Lutuing mabuti ang mga pagkain
✔️ Panatilihin sa tamang temperatura ang pagkain (mainit na pagkain manatiling mainit, malamig manatiling malamig)

Maging maingat sa pagkain—para sa isang ligtas at malusog na tag-init!

✨ Honoring Our Heroes: BHW Day on Araw ng Kagitingan ✨

Today, as we commemorate Araw ng Kagitingan 🇵🇭, we also celebrate Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) Day 🩺💖—recognizing our BHWs as everyday heroes in our communities. Their quiet service reflects true courage and dedication.

🙏 The day began with a Holy Mass at San Isidro Labrador Parish, followed by a motorcade 🚗💨 to the City Health Office in Talay.

🎉 The program continued with a simple but meaningful gathering, which included:
• 🙏 Opening Prayer
• 🗣️ Messages from Sponsors
• 💬 Words from the Heart (sharing experiences from new and retired BHWs)
• 💃 Intermission Numbers (Zumba and special presentations)
• 🌟 Inspirational Message from the City Mayor represented by Hon. Jose Victor JV Imbo , Councilor for Health

The City Health Office -Animal Bite Treatment Center, in partnership with the City Veterinary Office, conducted a Rabies Awareness activity to promote rabies prevention among animals and humans.
This campaign emphasizes:
✅𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓫𝓵𝓮 𝓟𝓮𝓽 𝓞𝔀𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓹
✅𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓵𝔂 𝓡𝓪𝓫𝓲𝓮𝓼 𝓥𝓪𝓬𝓬𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷
✅𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓶𝓹𝓽 𝓜𝓮𝓭𝓲𝓬𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓾𝓵𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 after any animal bite.
Rabies is a deadly but preventable disease, and through community cooperation and education, we can protect both people and animal.
