"Together, we can make a sustainable future with renewable energy. 🌍💡"

The NORSU AREC successfully launched their first Information, Education, and Communication Campaign, "EcoQuest: Journey to Renewable Awareness," on June 20, 2024. The keynote speaker, Engr. Ferdinand Binondo, Division Chief of Solar and Energy Management from Department Of Energy, discussed the Renewable Energy Act of 2008 (RA 9513), focusing on its implementation and policy mechanisms.

Engr. Allia T. Tuboro then presented a progress report on recent deliverables, followed by a product presentation from Mr. Daniel Cruistuta, founder of Nexdan Solar Solutions and Builders Corporation.

The event was a great success, attended by faculty from the College of Engineering and Architecture, the College of Industrial Technology, and NORSU Geothermal Engineering students.

From April 15 to May 2, 2024, the Negros Oriental State University-AREC team embarked on a mission: reviewing and assessing DOE Renewable Energy (RE) Projects. 📚🌿 We're thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with 10 barangays in Santa Catalina and Apo Island, Dauin. A heartfelt thank you to the Barangay Captains for their warm welcome and unwavering support throughout this journey. Together, let's embrace renewable energy and create a brighter future for all! 💫🌱
