PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project Negros Oriental

As the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) is continuously implemented around the country, more and more Filipinos have benefited from this project. The BRAP aims to increase the level of birth registration, especially in marginalized communities such as those belonging to the Indigenous Peoples (IPs), Muslim Filipinos, and the poorest sector in the country. It also aims to ensure that these groups are enrolled in the Philippine Identification System and have been issued with their Philippine Identification (PhilID) card which is a gateway for them to claim their social benefits and legal identity. With these, the affected population can now avail social services and fulfill their basic rights because they can now present birth records and PhilID to prove their legal identity.

𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗦𝗔

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) wishes to report the enhancement of its gender webpage in the PSA website. Its scope and content were expanded, and a new design was applied. The webpage now includes the Updated Philippine Core Gender and Development Indicators and the newly designed Annual Fact Sheet on Women and Men in pdf and excel forms, segregated by areas of concern.
