In compliance with 𝑂𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑀𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑢𝑚 𝑁𝑜. 1, 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 2026, the NORSU Law Library is implementing the 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝘄𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁 (𝗕𝗬𝗢𝗚𝗢) 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆.

Please be advised that there are no longer any garbage bins inside the Law Library. All visitors are encouraged to bring a reusable garbage or tote bag and take their personal waste with them upon leaving.

The Library also reiterates the observance of the 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐀𝐬-𝐘𝐨𝐮-𝐆𝐨 (𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐆𝐎) 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲:

✅ Keep your study area clean.
✅ Leave your space orderly after use.
✅ Avoid littering at all times.
✅ Take your personal waste with you when you leave.

is investing in the next generation of Philippine patent drafting experts through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)’s International Patent Drafting Training Program (IPDTP).

Filipino participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion recognized for unit credits under the Philippines' national patent agent training and qualification program.

The initiative was formally launched through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IPOPHL and WIPO, reinforcing their shared commitment to strengthening the country's patent ecosystem and expanding local patent expertise.
